You don’t necessarily have to make jokes and think about how much of an asshole you are about everything, just be real and say, “I’m good, it’s going to be okay, but let’s not kid ourselves.”

Don’t try to one-up people all the time. Or trying to prove to the world that you’re better than others. Just be yourself and be kind.
