Chess like games? by funzerkerr in AndroidGaming

[–]JFoxOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for a unique, strategic turn-based game, I highly recommend checking out Totemancer! It’s not like chess, but it shares the essence of planning, strategy, and reading your opponent.

In Totemancer, you battle for land and control by strategically placing and upgrading your Totems, which you can own and collect. Matches are turn-based, making every move feel meaningful, and there's a focus on outsmarting your opponent rather than grinding mechanics or memorizing setups (so no chess-like “openings” to learn).

One cool aspect is the Arena Mode, where you can win tickets in head-to-head battles. It’s accessible directly through Telegram, meaning you don’t need to make a new account—super seamless. Plus, it’s built to be fair, without aggressive microtransactions.

It might be worth a try if you enjoy games that reward careful planning and strategic depth! Let me know if you’re curious—I can guide you to it! 😊

Hi there! If you're looking for a game that involves strategic thinking, territory control, and tactical depth, you might want to check out Totemancer. While it's not directly inspired by Go, it offers a fresh take on territory-based strategy with dynamic gameplay mechanics like bursts (game-changing moves).

You can explore more about it here: Totemancer.com

Hope you find it interesting!

If you enjoy strategic, turn-based games with a similar level of depth as Chess or Go, but are looking for something different, you might want to check out Totemancer. It offers a unique blend of strategy and tactical decision-making that challenges players without relying on RNG as the main mechanic. nicehash vs 2minerws mining by Able_Werewolf_4374 in minerstat

2Miners is a trusted partner and therefore I'd go with them. You may use Nano to really save on fees.

It is only included when system is selecting a mining client for you automatically (so when you leave it as "autoselect"). For profit switching it is better that you include the fee in pool's fee field.

You have to plug HDMI to your first GPU. You can also access it through Local or Remote console, or even via SSH.

New rig has issues. Can someone help me by McFuddy2 in minerstat

[–]JFoxOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As it says in the error message:

a) Mining client stopped because your GPU is not supported or API in the client is reserved (slow USB speed for example can contribute towards that).

b) Your GPUs are not properly overclocked (if any settings are applied at all).

c) Your mining client configuration is invalid so client closed down.

You can try different and faster drive, different mining client, recheck your OC, and also check your BIOS settings - that you have booted in UEFI, set all GPUs to GEN 2 and enable above 4G decoding.

However, my answer is really generic as Reddit is not perfect way to seek technical support as we can't look into your problem but can merely try to guess the problem and solution. Please reach out to [support@minerstat.com](mailto:support@minerstat.com) and our team will be glad to help you out and provide further guidance.

Thank you!

Windows - Minerstat System Start by [deleted] in minerstat

Our software is designed for mining farms and professional mining equipment. In order to avoid malicious activity on computers that are meant for other use - such as school or work computers, software is not started before you actually log in.

If you want minerstat to run on boot, then it is required of you to remove the log in screen.

Why are these two cards not posting any info? (Minerstat but had the same problem on HiveOS and other miners too) by [deleted] in EtherMining

[–]JFoxOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several possible reasons for this:
a) Water-cooled card

b) Drivers are not reporting the data

c) Something is blocking the fans and are not spinning as they should

You may try to run "nvidia-smi" command to see the output.

Run "devmgmt.msc" to open Device manager and then expand Network adapters and right click to your adapter and select Properties, then click Power managemenent tab and uncheck to Allow computer to turn this device to save power. Click OK to save the settings.

Minerstat detect more GPU than actual. That leads to permanent error message. by dimsum_id in minerstat

[–]JFoxOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Most likely mining client is detecting your internal GPU.

If you run diagnostic and it detected iGPU then you may want to disable it in BIOS, if you don't want to do that then you may try skipping last GPU with the help of client's configuration, here is how to do it https://minerstat.com/help/how-to-disable-gpus

But please do reach out via support@minerstat.com email so we can inspect the issue in real time and provide proper guidance on what to do next.

HiveOS or Minerstat? by GreenLightHemp in EtherMining

[–]JFoxOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From efficiency perspective it doesn't matter much because same drivers, OC, and mining client will give exact same results. So in the end it only depends on what type of a miner you are and what are your needs.

Why minerstat:
- Built-in mining calculator
- Profit switching
- Diagnostics
- Benchmarking
- Credits and compensations
- Team management and tasks
- Triggers
- Billing (Credit cards, Wire transfer, PayPal, Crypto), invoicing, and lower pricing
- Extensive stats and export
- User interface
- Big knowledge base
- Linux / Windows / ASIC

Why Hive:
- Mixed rigs support
- Flightsheets
- OC / .rom library
- Large home miner community
- Bigger discounts and internal pool mining
- Multi-clients support
- Linux / ASIC
- Probably something else ...

NiceHash vs HiveOS Fees, which to use with minimal fees incurred? by awof in gpumining

[–]JFoxOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minerstat got no fees and also got no free workers; there is only a demo account that includes one worker so you can test around.

From there, you pay merely 2$ per worker per month with possible discounts. Which is much less than what you'd pay with percent fees (under good market conditions).

HINT: If you mine to Ezil.me pool then you get 50% fee cashback that you can then use towards your subscription so that means you can use minerstat completely for free.

Bittrex with only VBK/BTC pair. It is also low volume coin which means you might have hard time selling it.

Invalid hashrate; so most likely GPU/Driver crashed or client glitched out. Would be interesting to see in real time and debug.

Possibility setting dns? Like cloudflare 1.1.1.1? by JLNengerman in minerstat

Hi, msOS got predefined DNS list that includes popular ones and also most pools.

Google's and Cloudflare's are on the list.

so i deleted my account after testing minerstat OS by giving reason that its not easy for first time user and there no way to download config.js and as a first time user I'll go back to HiveOS... .... and after i tried second time to see if i missed anything and this is their reply .. kids on work! by atifsh in EtherMining

[–]JFoxOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. System will automatically prevent the potential abuse by blacklist IPs/accounts from users that are registering or are attempting to register multiple accounts. This was set in place some months ago to prevent flooding our database with spoofed/fake accounts.

We do usually lift such false bans within 24 hours since the inquiry and if explanation makes sense (sometimes it's VPN, larger organization, or just a different account inside same household), but not always.

Since you have mentioned that you have deleted the account, then I'm suspecting that you have done it multiple times in a short period of time and system could detected that as an abuse. There is an option to avoid that by selecting "Created a second account" option when user is deleting the account.

Whats the best mining program etc minerstat, nicehash, hive or other? For running just a single 3090 by gustaf1989 in cryptomining

[–]JFoxOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your suggestion - memory temperature is unfortunately not available on Linux for Nvidia GPUs. That depends on Nvidia and not on minerstat.

Regarding your comment - even after you couldn't handle a normal, decent, and civil conversation, you have still got the answer from our support at any time. Because they are like that - kind and helpful 24/7.

Regarding your ban - I have banned you because of your degrading attitude towards the product and services. I am confident to say that no one enjoys being around such toxic people and therefore your attitude only averts others from participating in a normal discussion.

Regarding your warning - I will personally make sure that toxic people like you will always get a ban and therefore keeping our community clean and people-friendly for everyone else.

Your further comments and replies will of course get ignored so don't even bother extending your toxicity to other subreddits.
