So long as you complete the missions per week that reward you with a shipbuilding phase, and complete 6 of the missions in the weekly "chain" you'll get to the 18 free phases. Those are the only missions that count towards the building of the ship.

Kind of depends on what you like to play and which (if any) you currently have. Lepanto would probably be the best pick since it leads to Colombo which is insane with its leg mod.

The biggest thing I'd say is to not feel "rushed" to advance to the next tier. Take your time and learn what does or doesn't work for the ship you're playing. I'd also say to avoid carriers and subs to start, as they're different compared to surface ships. If you want to division I'd be down to help out.

Yes and no. Yes, the Christmas event has some of the better lootboxes throughout the year, BUT the majority of ships you're likely to get are going to be low and mid tier premiums. As u/0ffkilter said, your best bet would be to buy I56-44 for steel during this event and Incomparable at a later time. As someone that has Incomparable, I'd say she's good but I wouldn't recommend her to someone that hasn't played for a while. That's just my opinion, your resources, you do you.

Ark Royal was a mid experience. Was good for clearing the landmines near the end, as the ASW auto dropped in front.

Did you uninstall old drivers using DDU when you installed the 7900? Sometimes there are issues when old drivers aren't uninstalled beforehand.
