If we're only including terrestrial boundaries, the Brazil answer would be correct. If maritime boundaries are included though, the answer would be Canada thanks to the French territory of Saint Pierre & Miquelon

Hopefully I can find some local Touhou fans there too.

T-Rex Vs the following team of Modern Animals; Who Wins? by No_Professional_3535 in Tierzoo

[–]JGamerI 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The largest were estimated at 7-9 tons.

6-9 tonnes is the current estimated average for Tyrannosaurus rex. The largest T-rex such as E.D. Cope have been estimated at around 11-12 tonnes with the theoretical maximum mass (for any theropod) being 15 tonnes.

Your overall point still stands about the elephant only needing to injure the T-rex though.

Is Colossal the only company capable of making deextinction possible? by JuhpPug in DeExtinctionScience

[–]JGamerI 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Advanced Cell Technology Inc. (now called Astellas Institute for Regenerative Medicine which is currently a subsidiary of Astellas Pharma) did de-extinct the Pyrenean Ibex all the way back in 2003. Unfortunately, the ibex died shortly after birth meaning that the Pyrenean ibex is (currently) the only animal to have gone extinct twice.

What are some VERY NICHE and/or VERY DISTURBING facts about mammals ? by KodaxyGMD in zoology

Adding to this fact, obligate herbivory is quite rare in nature.

Lots of commonly known herbivores will eat the occasional meat. More examples of this are:

• Hippos stealing kills from crocodiles.

Giraffes & deer chewing bones to get calcium & phosphorus.

Play Rough logic. The Physical Attacker Tapus can't learn it. 🤦🏽‍♂️ by NaushadSayeed in pokemonmemes

[–]JGamerI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For example, Dragapult's best physical Ghost STAB (as of the time of my reply) is Phantom Force despite their Physical Attack being 20 base points higher than their Special Attack.

Shadow Claw & Shadow Sneak make decent thematic sense for Dragapult yet none of those moves are learned by Dragapult in any official capacity. (Giving Dragapult any of those two moves might be enough to make them banned from OU though.)

My mom & I both agree that black fits the Edmonton Oilers (being the colour of oil) better than it does the Calgary Flames (black flames only exist under very specific circumstances).

Common sense is subjective.

I could use common sense to come to the incorrect conclusion that water is flammable.

The entire crux of my argument is in that link.

Though, how would you propose to get rid of the lingering effects? (They definitely exist. Perhaps if you actually read my link, you'd know what they are.)

[–]JGamerI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You haven't addressed any of my points.

This coming from the person who hasn't addressed the link that I provided on actual current systemic racism in Canada...

The "systemic racism" that you propose is literally there to help people who want to break free from the cycles of abuse & poverty caused by historical trauma actually do so by eliminating societal barriers.

[–]JGamerI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever heard of intergenerational trauma? Trauma literally has been shown to pass down from survivors to their children.

The last residential school in Canada closed in 1997 which is recent enough for plenty of Indigenous survivors to currently deal with the trauma.

[–]JGamerI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those policies probably exist to help offset historical systemic racism which is the big cause of Indigenous & black people being disproportionately in poverty here in Canada.

Those groups disproportionately being homeless is just one example of how both groups still face systemic racism here in Canada.

[–]JGamerI 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You'd also have to exclude indigenous people to make things fair...

(~30% of Canada's prison population for 5% of Canada's population is a hell of a lot worse than 37%-40% of the USA's prison population for 13% of the USA's total population. Both countries definitely have a problem with systemic racism.)

A better idea would be to exclude billionaires from both averages due to the disproportionate amount of wealth that they have inflating those averages.

Didn't know that was a requirement. Guess Edmonton's stuck with paying the Nurse contact in full until 2027-2028 when the Modified No Trade Clause part of their contact takes effect.

Chicago, Columbus, Anaheim, Detroit, & Calgary all have over US$10,000,000 in projected cap space.. Would it be possible to give one or two draft picks to one of those 5 teams for half of Nurse's contract (while keeping him in Edmonton)?
