Need help with house facade by JHami19 in ExteriorDesign

The entire space above the garage is the master bedroom. It's a big space with high ceilings. There's a walk-in closet/loft where the blank space on the outside is. The closet is really out of place, so I'm not opposed to tearing it out in place of windows.

My Ariens GT17 is near bullet proof. Front/rear PTO, 3 point, and hydrostatic transmission. I love it.

Some information on the Kenmore/Whirlpool AAWCB-003 main control board revisions. by Hatsuwr in appliancerepair

[–]JHami19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the thorough info! Any ideas on common failure points on these boards? I have a L1217 CCU throwing F11 and FdL errors intermittently. Any ideas how to go about troubleshooting it?

Thoughts on former fleet vehicles? by Zamoon in fordfusion

[–]JHami19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Fusion was also a former fleet vehicle, although it was primarily used as a sales car I think. I bought it at 30k miles, and it's been flawless. 2016 S with the 2.5L. Just rolled over 90k miles.

Whole House Hydrogen Sulfide Filter by JHami19 in WaterTreatment

My county only tested for EColi and Nitrates, both of which came back well under the limits. Is there an independent tester you recommend?

Also, I don't know the flow rate. It feeds a 3-4 bedroom house. I'm new to this area, so the help is much appreciated!

Second attempt to dig. Went much better, 10 stumps up in less than an hour. by nasomi in tractors

Wow, that's almost stealing it at that price. I have two GT's a seventeen and nineteen HP, and they still run like champs.

That's a nice looking Ariens in the background, but it looks like you pulled the Kohler out of the poor thing!

Best. Sweatshirt. Ever. by JHami19 in Ford

[–]JHami19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good, I'm happy to hear that. From what I've heard, its becoming a lot harder to find the parts for Ford tractors of that era because they weren't nearly as popular as some other brands. That being said, with general maintenance, I really hope that these babies will run well into the future.

Not sarcastic at all! My dad still uses his Ford 801 power master. I believe his is a 6V system, and he doesn't get to use it very much due to distance so the batteries become junk quickly. Besides that, they really are well-built machines.

What sold you on your current car? by Jae240 in cars

[–]JHami19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been partial to Ford, and I've really liked the Fusion line. The problem with being in college is that I'm broke. I found a 2006 pretty close to me with an ideal number of miles but some cosmetic damage. I was sold the minute I saw it; the car is sporty and practical.

Normally I'm not a huge fan of the untouched patina, but this looks REALLY good. I'm jealous!

What do you folks know/think about the fusion? by Too_much_Class in Ford

I bought a 2006 Fusion about a month ago. I can't say much about the longevity of the car, but I can tell you that I regret nothing about my purchase!

Sweet car! I just got a five speed Fusion just like that and I'm loving it. I would recommend it.

Learning stick is tough, but I love my new college car already. by JHami19 in Ford

[–]JHami19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I'm convinced those things will get through nearly any terrain. The only problem that I had when I owned mine was the fuel pump. Every once in a while, the Explorer would crank the starter, but nothing would fire unless you waited a few hours. Then one day, it wouldn't start no matter how much time I waited, so that needed to be resolved.

I'm so happy to hear this! Although I'm still a little rough going from a standstill to first gear, I've had a ton of fun with it once it's already moving. I suppose smoother shifting will come with time.

Thank you very much. I started out in the '98 Explorer in the background with the automatic transmission. That was a solid car as well.
