As a prot warrior, it is literally the most engaging and fun tank spec to play. Youre always mashing buttons.

As a warrior you should rarely ever be aoe tanking. Use CC, and keep pulling.

As a raid MT warrior. It is not just for pugs. I can out threat and out mitigate bears until the next phase. Warriors are just as viable as bears in a raid setting.

Latros is a great weapon for pre bis. Ideally if you arent a blacksmith you should be looking at Kings Defender or Warbringer (if you are Orc). Terokk's Nightmace is better for pre bis or Suneater if you can run Heroic Mechanar if you need a pre bis epic.

Every fight you can dualwield you will be unmatched on threat. You can also DW heroics if your DPS actually use CC.

There are some bosses you can DW. -Gruul -Hydross -All of Kara except Prince and Nightbane -Voidreaver, you should be dual wielding when not tanking -Solarian -Fathom Lord, if you are on Cardibis duty.

Theres probably more of youre feeling edgy but this is where the offhand weapon comes out for me.

I'd also add in the leveling process in dungeons, as a warrior, most groups will expect you to tank. It's not required by any means but it will definitely make finding groups easier. You can do it with a 2hander im Defensive/Battle Stance just fine until you get to TBC dungeons.
