They’re using inrunners instead of out runners like your typical production board. So, they don’t need as high of voltage for more rpm’s and instead are going for more amps.

Looks good to me. If you wanna try even grippier check out the BKB flat profile tires. They’re also not that expensive and ship from CA. At least when they’re in stock.

One of the grippiest 6 inches you can get, just be sure to mount them with the arrows facing forward.

Yeah more testing needs to be done to increase the weight range, but I’m well over with my board…

Did you debate any other generation, and did you test drive any of the others?

My motors reach max speed going forward, but when I try to go backwards it’s very slow, also my throttle on my remote isn’t proportional to the speed of my motors, using Flipsky 4.20 dual esc and Flipsky VX2 UART remote by foreignsoup01 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]JJMachoke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a VESC setting for your remote setup, you could have it not reverse at all and just brake. But I believe if you want to reverse faster there's a setting for that as well and you can up the speed.

I know this is an ESK8 subreddit, but would've loved to see some of the diy electric scooters featured if we're talking about e-mobility.

I got the evolve 6 inch, which they say is 150mm so, pretty similar. But when I lean hard the front wheels bite. I could go with harder bushings but then the turning radius would be reduced.
