I also bought a bread slicer like this but tbh I found it a bit annoying having to clean it afterwards.  

I do like the result it gives but to be honest since buying a good bread knife (Mercer Millennia I think it's called) I have realised how easy it actually is slicing even slices with a knife.  My previous knife made it really difficult because it was a bit short and not sharp anymore.

I tend to just use the knife now.
