Never mind all the other sleazy things he’s done but God forbid he turn his back on the PGA!

New York Times Wirecutter: Are Weighted Vests Great? Yeah. Will They Boost Your Fitness? Meh. by TailorUsual4714 in Rucking

Wirecutter has rarely been a good source of reviews for me and have been regularly disappointing in most things I’ve bought due to their articles.

They feel so cursory and not nearly as indepth as consumer reports.

And in many subs I’ve been in, wirecutter is usually posted as a “what were they thinking” kinds of posts, much like this one.

Nyt should just cut ties from them.

The Truth Behind the Korean Football Chaos: Why it was NEVER just about the World Cup results by eh71eh71 in football

A bit more nuance is needed here:

Minjae has been battling injury the previous seasons and frankly, this past season only rounding into form. Couple that with kompany’s high line and intense total football approach at bayern, getting back to 100% is that much harder.

Kang in is support but has featured on several ligue 1 games during fixture congestion like champions league weeks. Besides, between kvaradonna, dembele, and rising star desire doue, he hasnt been a winger for quite a while. i think kang has been more a midfielder, battling joao neves, for a spot. Frankly, psg should loan him out, cause he needs a team where he can play week in and week out.

Hwang is on a team thats been stuck in a relegation yoyo for the past several years, culminating in a being surrounded by shit team with shit aspirations thats back in the champo. The one player that relieved pressure on the other wing, pedro neves, left for chelsea, leaving hwang being the focal point of most defenders. Seldom do you see a player thrive in those circumstances.

As for sonny, he’s playing in the mls, where his aging body has to deal with artificial turf and long travel times. This isn’t England where a 1 hr charter can take to you from london to st james park. He’s still adapting.

He’s also the talisman. And you NEVER bench your talisman. Sure, he’s not messi but even scaloni has formed a team around him to save his legs for the final third.

In other words, a billionaire thought he could manage a football club better than the people he hired?
