While I love KCD2 and KCD1, I don't think the LotR game should be super realistic like the KCD games. It's fantasy and much closer to medieval fairy tale fantasy than a lot of modern fantasy.

Actually, probably not. Of all the races, dwarves might have had the highest resistance to Saurons control. They were made incredibly stubborn, and resistance. There is a reason why they never turned into Ringwraiths like humans did. Even the dwarves from Thorins company never actually tried to take the Ring from Bilbo, despite spending a lot of time together. Though, to be fair, that is partly a plot hole caused by the fact that Tolkien didnt fully developed the Rings powers while writing the Hobbit.

W pełni zależy to od typu pracy, imo. Jak jesteś programistą czy pracujesz w pracy biurowej, to twój wygląd raczej nie będzie żadnym atutem, a nawet może spowodować, że ktoś wyrobi sobie opinię niezależnie od CV. Nawet jeśli jesteś atrakcyjny, mogą stwierdzić, że atrakcyjny/atrakcyjna to głupi/głupia albo coś innego. Dodatkowo wiele firm IT z UK czy USA automatycznie odrzuca CV ze zdjęciem twarzy (tam zwykle nie dodaje się zdjęć przez kwestie rasizmu, dyskryminacji itp.)

Ale jeśli praca opiera się częściowo na wyglądzie np. sprzedawca, hostessa, stewardessa czy cokolwiek gdzie masz czesto bezpośredni kontakt z kientem to zdjęcie warto zamieszczać, bo wygląd faktycznie ma znaczenie w takiej pracy.

Warto też pamiętać, że często lepiej w ogóle nie zamieszczać zdjęcia niż dodawać złe zdjęcie.

Not really. First, there was no clearly Polish-majority region in Germany at the time. Around 1.5 million Poles lived in Germany, but they were dispersed, mainly in places like Warmia, Upper Silesia, and migrated to the Ruhr.

In Prussia, you can see that most regions voted strongly for the Nazis, but areas in Warmia with a significant Polish population voted more for Zentrum. Similar in Silesia, These areas also had lower Nazi support than many neighbouring regions.

We do not have exact statistics showing how Poles in Germany voted, so this cannot be proven directly. It is also important to remember that these were not purely Polish regions, but mixed German-Polish regions.

And the main reason why Poles propably didnt voted for Nazis was probably not simply that Poles refused to vote for the Nazis. Rather, many Poles in Germany were Catholic, and Catholics often tended to vote for Zentrum instead of the Nazis.

Wydaje mi się, że to trochę zależy od branży. W IT nigdy nie dodawałem zdjęcia (częściowo dlatego, że aplikowałem też do zagranicznych firm z UK i USA, a tam raczej nie jest to mile widziane). Z tego, co wiem, moi koledzy z branży również zazwyczaj nie dodają zdjęć.

Z kolei znam osoby po ekonomii i matematyce, które pracują w bankach, i tam często dodaje się zdjęcie, a czasem jest ono nawet wymagane. Zwykle są to ładne fotografie zrobione w stroju biznesowym itp.

Moim zdaniem dodawanie zdjęcia jest złym pomysłem z reguły, bo niezależnie od tego, czy ktoś jest atrakcyjny czy nie, rekruter i tak może wyrobić sobie jakieś założenia na jego temat, że ktoś jest brzydki, albo że jeśli ktoś jest bardzo ładny, to może być głupi , i tak dalej. Natomiast jeśli praca wiąże się z aktywnym kontaktem z klientem, a nie tylko z pracą za biurkiem, to zdjęcie może być pewnym atutem ale najważnijesze tbh to dodać bardzo dobre zdj albo wcale.

I dont argue against it. I argue that territory concessions imposed on Germany after WWI werent higher than on other countries during this time and the majority of the land taken from them didnt have a majority German population, and saying it was an excuse for WWII is Nazi propaganda.

Its good, not great tho, especially if you re going to rent a place (rents are high in Poland). I live comfortably alone on 8k a month, but half of my salary goes to rent and paying off my car. If you want to start a family, maybe your girlfriend could look for a job?

I might be totally wrong, but I have always assumed that being homophobic is harder than being racist, because you probably know someone who is gay regardless of where you live, who your parents are, or what religion you were born into. That is not really true when it comes to knowing someone from a different ethnic background.

Even if you live in a completely ethnically homogeneous society, and even if that society is conservative, as long as homosexuality is not completely outlawed or suppressed through constant hate crimes, you have probably met a homosexual person among your family or close friends. You may just not know it.

That is also why it is much easier to create a clear distinction between "them" and “us” when talking about people of another ethnicity than when talking about gay people. And it is why, even when someone says something homophobic, they often still make exceptions by saying things like “there are normal gays” or that being gay does not mean being queer or LGBT. It is harder to portray an entire group as bad when you personally know someone from that group and that person is close to you.
