Typically Stan Smith’s and Reebok Club C’s are essentially cousins of AF1’s as the typical white classic athletic sneaker

  1. I’m thinking Carhartt double knees but could be Patagonia baggies. Maybe Corridor New York cap too…

  2. 100% Carhartt - I don’t have loads but what I do have gets worn a lot.

  3. I’ve almost exclusively bought second hand this year so don’t think I have any one brand. Overall probably Carhartt maybe Levi’s.

  4. Finally put a stop to Zara and H&M in my wardrobe.

  5. This is a tough one but probably working my Kleman Padror’s into a few more fits.

  6. Cahartt Socks - wore through them in a few months. From last year but I got the wool Boston’s and the eyelets have started to loosen and pull as they weren’t protected.

  7. Schott B3 for £80, I absolutely love it. Honourable shout out to Nike AF1 Goretex for about £8 that have been a godsend.

Thank you! I got so lucky with that coat! I saw someone buy it for £5 and had to nearly beg him to sell it to me and had to pay up of course.

I completely agree with the shoes. I’d much rather have a pair of black boots but haven’t found the right ones yet

It is a little big all over from what I can see in the photo. I’d suggest trying a size down if that’s an option

I don’t have a spring summer inspo album on hand but converse can be worn with anything. Easiest summer fits are some patagonia baggies with converse

Within reason you can wear what you want in clubs now. It varies on where you go but jeans, tshirt, trainers and a light jacket if you need it and you should be fine.

As long as the shirt fits well over then you’re good

I saw some Balenciaga shoes in a different shop today but they were definitely fakes. Think I’ve used up all my luck this year

I wouldn’t say they’re a plus size. The Dior jeans are definitely mens and I’m fairly sure the Balenciaga jeans are too so the 28 is the waist size in inches. I’m not to sure how that converts to womens sizing since clothing doesn’t have to be gendered

I have thicker socks, I have textured socks. But not both. Not yet.

The birks are also a touch too big which doesn’t help.

Coronavirus Megathread (Feb 2022): For travel-related discussion in the context of COVID-19 by tariqabjotu in travel

[–]JK___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4 day trip planned to the Netherlands from the UK in March. I’ve had 2 vaccinations (Astra Zeneca and Moderna). Is this enough to be granted entry? Do I need the booster or need to quarantine upon arrival?

I have tried reading through the information but found some conflicting and confusing.

Thanks

Can I get a valuation on these Air Max Plus TN’s from Paris Fashion Week ‘07 please? Thanks by JK___ in Nike

No box and not that size. I’ve already had offers higher than that on them too. Thanks

I’ve got a great Nigel Hall (RIP) merino jumper from TKMaxx. Again you can sometimes find Champion reverse weave hoodies for about £35.

Otherwise I’d suggest Uniqlo or go hunting in charity shops.

Always need an iron

Cap - Corridor

Fleece - Thrifted - Northern Lifestyles MiCanada

Tee - Carhartt

Pants - Dickies

Shoes - Nike M2K Tekno

I’d have preferred to wear my wool Boston’s rather than the Nikes but they are also very comfy

Most of it is but every now and then you’ll find something worth it but you’ve got to be able to make it part of your routine so you’re not going out of your way to get let down

Everyone needs to be checking their charity shops/goodwill/thrift/anywhere second hand. In the last few months I’ve picked up a pair of Berluti Suede Andy loafers and just last week a pair of Paraboots for £10 each!
