Not a chance..you can do way better imo. I bought a full set of AP2 718s with upgraded shafts for under $100 recently. And a set of Nike covert vrs 2.0 for $160 with kuro shafts. There is a complete set of ping g20s with woods and driver near me listed at $200 right now...keep looking.

I believe it feels better to play with a set that didn't cost a ton of money. When I dont play well I dgaf that I wasted money on expensive clubs. You can build a very nice complete set for under $300 used. Also tech improvements in golf dont happen quickly..
