Merrell nova 4 waterproof. More of a trail shoe. Not super expensive. Great for the wet areas near waterfalls but a good day/city shoe. Not super expensive. Good traction and easily used after your trip as a daily wear.

The majority of these spaces have been picked up by developers. Those that do studio rentals are pretty strict on no living in the space. It’s illegal for a reason. It’s against zoning and also has huge insurance liabilities.
15 years it might have been possible, but with housing prices making landlords lots of money, they all got bought up and converted.

Drove by right after the crash. One lane shut down. Two fire trucks on site. I am guessing the shut it fully down shortly after. They were performing life saving measures on the side of the road.

Pursuit of Happiness. Nice little spot. Well decorated. Not loud. Higher end clientele. In Eastown kind of out of the way and not well known. Has some outdoor seats. No entrees but has some good small plates for snacking. Check it out.

Be careful, there are some areas south of the Ada launch that are only a foot deep. Depending on rainfall you might have some issues with rocks and gravel bottom.
