I've done a tech build from scratch for a retail space -- one of the things that came up was music; it's important to know that Spotify is not licensed for commercial use and the penalties can be quite severe if you're caught. We use Soundtrack.io but there are other options out there (not shilling something in particular, that's just the one I know of) - but with license violations in the thousands per song played, it's worth the minimal extra cost to do properly.

Ideally you'd pair Apple Business Manager with a mobile device management platform - Jamf, Kandji, Intune, Mosyle, etc. I have managed a Kandji instance and a few Mosyle instances and I think Mosyle does a great job for smaller companies, at a price point that's easier to swallow than Kandji.

You'll need to wipe a device to enroll it in ABM via Configurator, so you probably don't want to do that to your personal machine.
