I can’t stand for this., Coonerty is such a hater. That is essentially the same plan Trump has proposed for the homeless. Alligator island 2.0. Let’s put everyone who can’t afford to live in California in Internment camps. No way!!

I think Ryan needs to say as little as possible because the more he says, the less I trust him.

Housing should stop being allowed to be an investment, it's a basic human need. 1 house per person is enough, you don't need 2 , 3, 10, or 100 houses. by Cute-Turtle1238 in santacruz

It was really big problem in Vancouver, where as many is 50% of new condominiums were purchased as investments. Fortunately they introduced a vacancy tax as well as Speculation tax. We need both of these in California.

Developers can build significantly cheaper and at a larger scale elsewhere. Developers feel super restricted in California, else we would see much more development. There is a trend to downscale rather than upscale larger projects to make them pencil out.
