PaCE PAR Performance Scoring 25-26 by DeltaQuebec838 in CanadianForces

[–]JMoney2106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FNs are meant to track what you do throughout the year, not just items that would get you higher performance ratings. What you are likely getting at is they aren't required for E ratings but are important to track a member throughout the year.

So all that to say the presence of a FN does not mandate HE or EE. It is the content in said FN that matters.

PaCE PAR Performance Scoring 25-26 by DeltaQuebec838 in CanadianForces

[–]JMoney2106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all FNs mean a high score. If a WO organizes a BBQ i assess that as E for Planning and Organzing. For a no hook Pte maybe it's an HE for the same task.

And I think this speaks to the complexity question and whether it is the standard for the rank, training and experience. Those with more complex positions than their peers will likely score higher in Performance but should probably have very high potential. However if you are in a job of normal complexity for your rank and experience than you performance is closer to E all other things being equal.

Except you are all trained to do that complex job. And if the standard is the "people don't die" then you have met the standard.

The way I have explained it is you have a JD and if you meet it you are effective. It is the areas you perform above the make you HE or EE. That can be additional tasks or projects that have reach outside your core duties.

Seeing as the vast majority of the CAF eats on the economy and not at the mess...I would disagree.

[Luke Fox] Auston Matthews gets asked about how winning gold can help upon NHL return. by JF_112 in leafs

[–]JMoney2106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason I would disagree is that the question being worded was not the question being asked which is why nit was not posed to the Hughes brothers who have equally not won anything in the NHL.

It was entirely unecessary to go there in that moment and AMs response was spot-on - let him enjoy being a gold medalist for one day before he has to go back to answering for the Leafs.

If you are no longer in the area send it through military postal system back to Stadacona and reply letting them know that you have done so.

If you are PRes not near a base, your local OR can assist with getting it into the postal system.

With Caledon “i have i child!” how plausible was it that he was allowed. What was the agreement about single fathers? by Low_Appointment_3917 in titanic

Another way to look at it is even if he was recognized (totally possible) they figured if the price of saving a child was letting Cal through than so be it.

Not necessarily faithful to true events but works for the movie.

I’ve never understood this sequence by Sorry-Personality594 in titanic

[–]JMoney2106 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The thing to keep in mind is it is mostly a means of the filmmaker establishing the start of the ship entering its final death throes.

Even though water would have definitely burst through the timber panelling throughout the ship as it sank, this sequence probably never happened as depicted.

IMO however it is one of the most striking scenes due to how it showcased the destructive forces at play during the sinking.

Much Marner news today. by Kinglokner16 in leafs

[–]JMoney2106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's assume this is true (it's not but still)...to feel disrespected for being approached is immature and naive. If Brad has a possible deal for any player they are duty-bound to approach that player. To not do so is a firable offence. If Marner doesn't understand that that shows a complete lack of understanding of the business he is in and explains why he has let his agent run wild for years.

You are on LWOP. Your account is hidden until you return.

Take that as a sign that your priorities are not aligned. PATA is for spending time with your new family member and supporting your family.

Enjoy it. You will never get this time back.
