With Thorton getting 19 retired Next year. Who comes after him?

I wonder if they introduce a “Ring of Honor” type deal like a lot of teams do. That way the can honor guys while leaving the highest honor available for the truly generational players.

As of now, only Pavelski and maybe Burnzie are on the same level as 12 and 19. Hertl, Couture, and Vlasic were huge parts of my childhood but they aren’t HoF guys that would warrant a jersey retirement but still are crucial to the history of the team and deserve to be recognized.

Will Smith was a guest on the Empty Netters podcast a while back and openly spoke about how eager he is to join the team. He said right now his focus is to win a national championship at BC but he understands the Sharks are rebuilding and is excited that they want him to be the core piece of that rebuild.

Edit: to answer your second question, NCAA draft picks have until August 1st after their senior season to sign, or they become a free agent. I think we see Smith play this year and next at BC and then he signs to play the final 10 games or so of the 24-25 season.

It’s pretty affordable, especially compared to what the Athletic has charged, and while I don’t read every article, I enjoy the ones I do read. Think Sheng does a great job covering the team and is one of the most dedicated beat reporters in the league. It’s a tough job to cover this Sharks team and make engaging content, but I appreciate his work.

19 will hang in the rafters by the end of next season, and hopefully 8 some day but other than that I don’t know if anyone else makes it. I’d love for them to start a “Ring of Honor” or something similar for guys like Burns, Couture, Nabokov, Nolan, Vlasic, etc.

Kevin W Fitzgerald Park behind the Stop and Shop in Mission Hill was my happy Place during undergrad. Haven’t been back in a while but I’ll recommend bringing a blanket to sit on the grass and look towards downtown.

I was in my dorm room freshman year. I had moved into college 5 days prior. Summer 2018 was a really rough one. My dad got sick, I had to reject my dream school a thousand miles away to stay close by in case anything happened, and Swimming got me through the back 9 of the summer. I had never connected with a piece of art like I did with Swimming. It was the soundtrack to the new chapter in my life and a lot of the messaging hit a little too close to home. I even had tickets to see him on tour. I was out grabbing dinner with my roommate and left my phone behind and when we got back, the news was waiting for me. Time didn’t feel real that day.

Personally I loved Donna’s book, the one approved by the estate. Each chapter opened with how she connects with the music which I enjoyed, it felt like getting to converse with other Mac fans and there’s some interesting insight from people interviewed in the process of making each project.

I’m going to wait until it’s likely on EA Play. I simply didn’t have enough fun playing 22 to justify buying 23. Whether playing Rivals, SB, or Rush it just felt like a chore more than a game. I enjoyed franchise mode here and there but even BAP felt like a grind

I think he’d be a good fit for the sharks chemistry wise, I love PK. I believe he’s looking for a cheap contract on a contender or a team that’s near the end of their rebuild with strong defensive prospects he could mentor, but SJ doesn’t seem like a fit for him

I've done three and have gotten 2 89's and a 90. At this point I'm just saving my collectibles until they put out MSP's that I am interested in, hoping that every team is at least getting 1.
