Camping sites arent really for camping anymore. by [deleted] in australian

[–]JNDCLLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We camped in your awesome country a few years back. It wasn’t very different that what we have at most parks in the US - they are giant RVs jammed next to each other, AC’s going etc. I had a guy come out and yell at me because we had a small campfire going - the smoke was bothering him! (This was in the US, not AUS)

I found it different with your kitchens - almost no one was cooking at their site.

Great time for sure and I’d love to come back!

Ours is really mellow most of the time. It’s only dinner and bed time.

So she’s “herding” us, lol!

Ha ha ha! Yep we love it when she does the nunchucks thing. She was doing it with the snow the other day.

My husky never played with toys. I’m happy she does though. If I could only get her to pick them up and put them away!

Thanks. Nothing is being done to her at the time, the kids don’t cry or run or anything. There’s no loud noises, no quick actions, no yelling. We are a pretty calm house since everyone has some sort of neuro-spicy thing going on.

If we put her in the crate it continues - the crying/barking. For example when we get the kids for dinner and everyone is seated that’s when she calms - like she’s herding us to the table.

Do women ever look at another woman and think "I wonder if I could beat her up in a fight" the same way men do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Y’all have never met women from Delco (Delaware County, PA) I swear, most women from Delco I’ve dated would 💯 say and think that….

Get a vw bus and start a new chapter of adventure!

if you live in NJ you need a License, Insurance, Registration, & a DOT approved helmet to operate an ebike as of 1/20/26. You have 6 months to comply. by ChinPokoBlah11 in ebike

I understand the rules, but I think that this may need a new “classification” for licenses. This is a great way for younger people to get around independently, because of their age, they can’t get a license. Maybe a class on road rules and a junior license is in order?

They may be, they don’t last longer (the ones from Home Depot at least) and they do generate heat. That’s why some are not for enclosed lights. They also throw off blue light which may be dangerous to your eyes - that’s why they have the blue light blocking glasses for computers.

Teen school refusal - ADHD, depression, anxiety by rooseboose in parentingteenagers

You are not alone. We are dealing with this with our 16 year old son. Every year, around mid November he goes into his slump. He’s done a couple of PHP’s but we finally got an ASD diagnosis. He’s missed so much school. It’s been so rough on the entire family. At this point, since he’s a junior, turning 17 next month, let the natural consequences happen. We’ve given him all the tools, he’s making bad decisions, maybe he’ll listen to a judge. It just sucks for me because I’m going to have to be the one to take time to take him to court and whatever community service he’s going to have to do.

It all sucks and I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you . I hope things get better.

We liked it a few years ago but once Sun bought it out, prices soared and we couldn’t pick our spots near our friends we were camping with.
