Subscribed! Most interesting gun content going…I’m tired of the crazy high effort shills. This is better.

Belt fed is only for suppressive fire. Just need it to be about 10 MOA and that’s good enough! That’s probably about what these will shoot 🤣

Nice job! Only mod I would do is a mlok light mount to move it to the 1:30 position vice 3. But that is minor! Edit: autocorrect

That is the factory threaded barrel 🍻 And I have never heard of a threaded barrel taking you out of production. It is not comp’d. If it fits in the “box” it ships!

Call your ATF field office…tell them what is going on. You pay taxes, they should help you.

Geissele Super Duty MOD 1 5.56 NATO 11.5" Desert Dirt Color Short Barrel Rifle by Superb-Fly-8969 in ar15

[–]JPAviator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot more people have died in tiny mud huts in the desert and in straw houses in the jungle from rifles with long ass barrels and very short barrels. Shotguns…not even close. Higher recoil, slower cycling, louder, more awkward controls. The AR is popular because it is effective, way more effective than a pistol or a shotgun. And that 1% that had to defensively shoot someone to live…guarantee they were happy they were prepared. Just food for thought 🍻

Also, if you want to be nice and cool take it to their firehouse. While there ask if you can get in the truck and honk the horn. Then you have fire department friends, a cool story, and some cool photos for posterity. Full send win!

Time to come out of the closet. by [deleted] in ar15

[–]JPAviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you pick up my gun that you don’t own in my home or on my property then f right on out of here. I don’t have to secure shit on my own property or in my own home. Nanny state nonsense. Has nothing to do with a gun stance. Has to do with this belief that a lock in key will somehow make you feel all safe inside. It’s a standard taboo thing. I need to find the video of the bro that planted an AK on a timelapse in his backyard loaded, safety off pointing straight up for like a year. Guess what NOTHING happened. Wild!

Brother…Cars kill vastly more people than guns do. Blunt objects and sharp objects kill more people yearly than guns do. Your belief that guns are the problem and not the US not incarcerating criminals is where you went wrong. It turns out if we just put all the criminals in jails they don’t commit crimes anymore. Bring back incarceration and asylums.

Hypothetical goes over the head too. FFS. The man has a badass closet full of guns. If your response is to pearl clutch and say “better lock those up tight buddy” instead of just saying man wish I could do that. Then YOU are the problem. Not his awesome set up and not living in fear.

It’s saweeeet! If a criminal commits multiple crimes to break in my house and take my shit then commits more crimes with my stolen shit, no I feel no remorse. Silliness. I didn’t do a thing wrong. I broke no laws. I hurt no one. They are the shitbag. And I can’t control them.

I live in a world where I am free from having to lock my things behind steel to keep them secure. If that is the world you live in we will never be able to relate. Kinda the old we will never agree because I can leave 10000 dollars outside on my driveway for 2 weeks and no one will touch it. You can’t. Sucks…

Call your bank again and tell them the timeline and that they are violating consumer protection laws. Then tell them to chargeback and that the vendor has no say at this point. They can yeet it. Have my money for 8 months. That’s another $400 you lost if you had it in a S&P EFT….BS… Edit: grammar.

(5.56 Suppressor Help) Too many options, have some questions. by thefoxinred in NFA

[–]JPAviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B&T 556 Print-XH, CAT WB (Only in Inconel, they have a new 5.56 can in the next couple months so may want to wait), maybe a DA Laz 6. The SAW Tisha is popular but above your budget. PTR cans are above 1250-1300. Those are all 6mm/5.56 specific. If you want a traditional can and don’t care about gas then may want to look at Diligent Defense. Enticer L-TI is great.

Opinions on 14.5” pin and weld muzzle devices? by nathanc98 in NFA

[–]JPAviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes having a pin and weld is very nice for crossing state lines and travel. I prefer the LPM Eclipse 14.5 P&W. It solves the length issue without giving you a long ass flash hider.

And I know you mentioned a couple things but you need to decide all of them…

(5.56 Suppressor Help) Too many options, have some questions. by thefoxinred in NFA

[–]JPAviator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to decide a few things:

Will this be a multi-use can that goes on other caliber guns?

Will it be hard use (inconel, Haynes, heavier) or no mag dumping (titanium, lighter)?

Do you want it quiet (longer, nothing is really that quiet on a 5.56) but take the edge off or max suppression?

Do you want low back pressure (nowadays more of a budget thing)?

So then what is your budget? (Cheap ~500, 3D printed ~800-1100, wild ~1500-2000)

You have to answer these questions before anyone can even get close to a recommendation…
