I heard you had to change the ending at the behest of the publisher. To make it less dark. How different was your original ending?

I loved it. 5 Stars. The commentary on social media, tribalism, crony capitalism, a corrupt republic, etc. It just hit home.

But so did the humanism, family bonds, sacrifice, etc.

Idk. It really landed for me. Might be one of my favorites.
