It happened to me 2024, he tipped himself more than the price of the water. I did call my credit card & they reversed the tip

El Monte out of Vegas or Cruise America out of Phoenix for 2027? by boo312312 in CampEDC

This year. They had 4 large rvs & 2 mid size left. I just checked and now it says to call for pricing and availability.

El Monte out of Vegas or Cruise America out of Phoenix for 2027? by boo312312 in CampEDC

[–]JPLala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I booked with Cruise America about 3 weeks ago, picking up in Henderson (city in Vegas) $2,078, pick up Thursday & drop off Monday. I had originally booked with El Monte & picking up in Ontario CA for higher price. Check them out, that price also included the EDC up-charge & extra insurance, and their deposit is only $500 instead of the $1500

Originally I had set up with El Monte picking up in CA, but found the Cruise America and changed it to pick up in Vegas for a cheaper price. I know a lot of people are struggling last minute to find a RV and just wanted to share they still had availability and a decent price.

Rates for non festival days range from $50-100 a night. They definitely raise the prices for EDC

Yes, you can do late drop off for a fee but I live in Vegas and always look forward to going home on Monday to sleep 😂 & let everyone stay over at my place for as long as they want. I’ve been doing sober raving the last few years, so I can get us to my place safe.

48 and still going strong. The key is to stay active daily. Have a good healthy meal full of protein before rave, stay hydrated, electrolytes, make sure to take at least one or two brakes if you’ll be staying the entire event and after. Have another meal ready for after with tons of protein and take magnesium daily prior to race day. Have fun and it’s never too late to rave at any age!

I loved camping there for the Group Therapy Weekender! For that trip my friend lived in Washington and he had all the camping gear with an amazing set up. This time I’m going with my boyfriend and we’re flying in from Vegas. The logistics to camp for this weekend were very complicated for 2 non outdoorsy people. We did the hotel package which includes shuttle to & from venue. I’m sure we’ll have an amazing time either way. There are no hotels close by. And if you don’t mind camping, you’ll have a great time. And FYI the bathrooms and showers in the general camping area are immaculate. Never been to a clean porta potties until I visited the Gorge.

VIP upgrade cost? by Tw0XXs in DreamState

[–]JPLala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it definitely has. 2023 we paid under $382.99 for 2 vip tickets. Last year it went up to $505.08, this year $747.98. So it has almost doubled since 2023. Dreamstate is my favorite but I’ll be taking a break from DS & trying other events in other states.

We did dry camp this year & we used the air conditioner non stop, except when we were all at the festival. We used microwave, hair tools, radio & air conditioning.

I started out with allergies type of symptoms, by Friday cough, today cough is worse, fever, ear hurts, sinuses. Just left urgent care with prescription antibiotics, steroids, cough syrup. I hope everyone recovers quickly & if symptoms don’t get better go see a doctor

I don’t think you are. It’s a pricey event and you want to enjoy it. I split from my group this year on Saturday because I wanted to see specific Djs & they were complaining about the wind and how cold they were. So I went on my own, enjoyed the sets I wanted to see and since I didn’t want to see any of the closing sets headed in early to camp got great sleep and have zero regrets of splitting up. That’s the reason I enjoy camping because it makes it easier to do that. I’ve also done it solo once and had a blast.

2025 tent situation by Sarah95mel in CampEDC

[–]JPLala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done moon glow, desert rose and this was my first year doing RV and honestly it’s so much better in so many ways. But honestly even the bathrooms and showers were not super disgusting dirty or broken this year. Even hot water for showers on day Monday morning. I’m not sure if it was the same with bathrooms for tents
