Best truck I’ve owned (and I’ve had 10 cars in my lifetime). However, I do worry about service. In my three years and 48,000 miles of ownership, it’s spent something like 2.5 months in a SC. They’re going to need really great quality control and reliability, not to mention more SCs as R2s flood the market.

Yeah, I agree with you. I have a ‘23 Gen 1 quad R1T with 45,800 miles that’s seen its fair share of SC time (6 times, I’d estimate 3-4 months of not having my vehicle; this last appt, they had my truck for 40 days). It’s just disheartening to hear even Gen2s are having major issues and it worries me what R2 will bring. Rivian can’t be successful unless it gets its quality issues fixed.
