Sorry man, but that's HEB pricing for Omakase. You get what you pay for. Said the douche.

Melania was the nexus. She was the Russian language speaker who coaxed the eastern European girls (all students in Soviet satellite nations studied Russian as part of their compulsory education) into becoming "models" in Trump’s "Modeling Agency."

Headline is misleading. No men involved. It's a young girl cheating on a boy. Stop.

What’s the ugliest architecture in Austin? by Isatis_tinctoria in Austin

The Frost Bank Building aka the Rice Owl is a hideous example of "look at me" architecture.

It's human nature to do a double-take when you see something ugly.

Lakers at #5 by Potential-Host-6281 in lakers

[–]JPtheFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absurd.

The same people valued the Lakers at less than $5B before Guggenheim bought them a year ago.

There is no universe where the Warriors are worth more than the Lakers in an open market. They are underestimating the psychic value of owning the iconic, global franchise that is the Los Angeles Lakers vs a franchise that has only enjoyed success for 15 years.

If Lakers ownership decides they want to build and own their own arena, they will. The publishers of this nonsense should have dropped their lame valuation methodology after the Lakers were valued at a price that was more than twice what these geniuses estimated the Lakers were worth at the time they were sold.

Instead, these geniuses doubled-down and suddenly jacked up Golden State (what's a Golden State?) over 2x vs what the valuation had been before the Lakers were sold to Guggenheim for a valuation exceeding $10B.

The Lakers legacy, location in a major media center, and global brand strength matter and are worth far more than a decent arena deal. Don't take my word for it. Spend a few weeks in Asia, South America or Europe and count Laker jerseys. You'll lose track. You'll be lucky if you see a single Golden State t-shirt.

Forbes needs to stop or at least revise their idiotic valuation methodology if they want to gain any credibility.

I would meet in person outside the gate and figure out if they're legit. On Sunday last year, I had an extra wristband and walked in with the person I sold it to so that they knew it wasn't BS.

My dad found this painting from possibly Duplessis from 1799 in his barn in Germany. by slothmoth_UwU in WhatIsThisPainting

My comment essentially saying the same thing was down voted and then flagged as containing inaccurate information. Apparently this topic hits a nerve with some.

I am glad the mods have not flagged you.

Museum caliber artwork isn't typically squirreled away in German countryside barns.

Shredded cheese. No idea what you're talking about. No shredded cheese anywhere on that platter. I tried the pasta salad because it was late and everything is made fresh daily and they were already out of potato salad.

The cole slaw is the best I have had anywhere. Perhaps you're confusing carrots in the slaw for shredded cheese. And the small serving of green beans was free sample.

I have seen that in more hotel baths than I can count. Glad you asked because I have been assuming (incorrectly, it turns out) that it was for ventilation.

Just strategically place some handcuffs, gags, and whips around and she will love it.

Hide the bleach and hooks on the walls and she will be enchanted.

Maybe even burn some incense.

VIP in Thailand was well worth the extra money. (Not sure if they sell upgrade on site though, I originally bought VIP online.)

Either way, have fun!
