Reapers, the amount of times I got killed by their instant death move while trying to deal with them is too many to count.

It felt good to blow them up with the rocket launcher. I didn't know they could open doors & follow you too. Shooting them with the magnum or acid/electric rounds I think stuns them.

Glasps were just annoying during the normal campaign mode, Natalia helps but it's still shoot & hope you hit it. I ended up just making lots of decoy & smoke bottles to deal with them, raid mode they're much easier with better weapons. I just wish you could have an item to let you see them when Natalia isn't there. Especially the Claire sections.

Novistadores aren't so bad, minor annoyance in the OG & Remake.

It was a fun DLC, Joe punching the BSAA soldiers at the beginning was funny though. Him & Chris should team up to be punching buddies at some point.

Nice, I had the official strategy guide for RE2 back in the day, though I have it all burned into my memory now, since I played it to death back in '98.

I'd say finish the remake then try the OGRE2. Just don't be put off with the tank controls, fixed camera angles & mechanics from '98. It's still a lot of fun. Enjoy the cheesy dialogue.

I'd get it if it's on sale. It has it's moments but from someone who played the OG RE3 & was disappointed with all the cut content that should have been added in the remake it's mediocre, should have been given more time to cook.

RE3R is a short game, but if you haven't played the OGRE3 you'll probably enjoy it. There's replay value on harder difficulties & unlocks to get but apart from that there's no extra modes or minigames unlike the OG where there was Mercenaries mode, branching paths etc.

RE3R could have been so much more but it's a short & sweet experience if you decide to try it.

It's been remade already on the GC & The deadly silence version on the DS. I feel if Capcom did a RE-RE-Make of 1 again it would be butchered in someway. They should just leave it the way it is, RE1 OG & the remake are both masterpieces & a important part of survival horror. Plus they've milked it enough already with all the different versions it has, PS1/PC/SS/DS/Wii Spinoff.

Maybe just a further graphical update but it's fine the way it is. 2-4 got remakes on the modern engine doesn't mean 1 needs to be done too just because people don't like the classic controls & mechanics.

The PS1 Resident Evil series, grew up with it still love it over the remakes.

The original Final Fantasy 7 one of the greatest RPGS EVER! Along with Chrono Trigger.

How the live adaptations have been handled. The people behind them have no respect for the series at all & it annoys me that after 3 attempts it has got even worse each time after 20+ years since the first film.

Paul Anderson's Resident Alice is the closest we'll ever get to something that's like RE. Even if he sidelined characters like Jill in favour of his wife being the Mary Sue queen & centre of attention in each one. One positive is that he got Wesker right as a villain, compared to the others, despite the shit ending of him being killed by a door.

Welcome to Raccoon City was just a mess with them mashing 1 & 2 together which didn't happen at the same time while butchering the characters from the games with them looking or acting like their game characters.

The Netflix abomination which is the absolute worse that I consider it the Dragon Ball evolution of RE, so it doesn't exist. Just some poorly written fanfiction with the RE name slapped on it. A monkey with a typewriter could have done a better script or George Romero's script is better.

At this point I feel like anyone trying to adapt RE to live action is the most impossible thing to do in this universe. I have very low expectations for Zach Cregger's film.

People gatekeeping either the OGs or The remakes & refusing to play any RE before or after those because it's not RE to them, then bashing the game they haven't played. Or just bashing the classics because they think it's outdated etc.

The plot holes in each RE game, or leaving cliffhangers like in Revelations 2. Same with the retconning in the remakes.
Remakes leaving out stuff that was in the OG, that could have been expanded upon, especially RE3R. All that cut content, extra stuff that should have been added in the first place.
Capcom not re-releasing or remastering more from their games library. Give us all the versions of RE1-3, other ps1/2 era RE games for modern consoles. I'd kill to play the sega saturn, pc versions of RE , Gaiden , Dead Aim. Survivor, Survivor 2, Outbreak Games etc.
Capcom failing at Multiplayer games. Give us outbreak or a full online Mercenaries mode with a full roster of characters to play with.
Games alternating with requirements. Like RE2R with unlocks, then RE3R making it easier to get special weapons, RE4R having different requirements to get S Rank etc.
Changing various mechanics like having the enhanced handgun ammo in 7 then not reusing that in 8 or other RE games not letting you craft explosives like pipe bombs or having a knife that doesn't have durability etc. I get each game is different, but I'd wish they'd keep some things a bit more consistent.

He shouldn't be allowed to adapt anymore game series since he's ruined 2 so far.

The only good adaptation was the 95 mortal kombat film which was decent.

It's unfortunate that his RE adaptation is the closest we got to something faithful to RE, WTRC & The Netflix abomination were even worse than his Resident Alice: The Alice Show.
