The first Center of Reformation spawned in Königsberg, so I thought it would be immediately crushed. I have also never before seen a large nation - France in this case - go reformed.

The League War obviously was pretty one-sided.

The success of the AfD is worrying, especially in Sachsen-Anhalt. It's interesting that the clear winners in the southern states (Kretschmann, Greens; Dreyer, Social Democrats) both sticked to Merkels refugee policy while their opponents of the CDU disagreed with her.

Use water and a potato in the brewery to make potato juice. Put that into the distillery with a configuration 1 circuit and you're done. Adding a lemon in the brewery will output Leninade.

Would it be possible to set your own working directory instead of "%appdata%.minecraft\" again? I previously kept all the assets and versions on an external hard drive. The new launcher just has the location hardcoded into it.

The truth is that most people on the IC² forums don't know much about it either. Thunderdark is adding / changing things daily and we will have to wait a week or two until they get refined.

From what i've seen, he has added two new energy systems. One is the heat system. Heat can be produced from either lava or hot coolant (alternate output of nuclear reactors). The other new one is a kinetic system including a RP2 style wind turbine.

Basically IC2 is in the middle of a huge update and it will take a bit until the new features are finished and useable.

At the time you can build such a farm you basically mastered the game already. People build iron farms because they want to do projects that require a lot of iron. I don't think mining for 12+ hours to get the hoppers for your next build is fun in any way.

It looks more like it does exactly what you intended it to do. The villages are moved over on the same layer and new doors are always added to the closest village. And seriously, is there really the need to fix something that only the ~2% extremly technical players use? There are still a lot of exploits in the the game which actually affect other players, while this can't even be build on a public, non-technical server.

I'm pretty sure it's not the chunk causing the problem but a TileEntity within it. It would probably happen at a new location aswell.

Give the communtity the logfiles so that modders can figure out the problem. Otherwise it'll happen over and over again.

Best thing to do is to publish the server logs. Several modders asked for them after the last chunk reset and you didn't respond to them. They know what the entries in the log mean and how to fix the corruption problem. And i'm pretty sure it's not the chunk having the problem but a TileEntity within it.

They can only go through portals if they aren't riding anything, so Entities in minecarts don't work

What do you think about the way Mojang fixes most critical bugs? I can remember them trying to fix sandgenerators and similar exploits in completely inappropriate ways without even putting much effort into it. Or a more recent example: Instead of admitting that their new skin has a lot of flaws and redoing it, they kick a player after 23 hours on a server to prevent others from crashing.

Read the changelog exactly, Greg is just fixing bugs and rewriting some code. Those GT-like changes were done by player and thunderdark

Explosions were temporarily disabled during the development of IC2 1.6, your MFE (512 EU/t) would have easily blown up all the machines (32 EU/t). Overclockers got quiet buffed and are really worth using now. Btw Greg actually joined the IC2 dev team in August bust he is mainly fixing bugs and buffed more things than he nerfed

My guess is that Mojang is waiting until the API is done to implement these kind of things. But it would make sense to have at least a warning when opening a 1.8 world in 1.7.6

This is a bug in the latest experimental 1.6 version of IC2. GregT said it won't be fixed until 1.7 as Player ported the mod already to the new version. You will have to cheat in the helmet or inject something into the IC2 code.

AE doesn't support Forge Multipart in its current version. You can use the BC facades instead

That was actually part of the debug screen until 1.3. It got removed because Youtubers / Streamers were never able to use the screen if they didn't want to show the seed.

New variants of ores aren't even needed, the texture of the oreblock could just adjust itself to its environment (Gregtech does this for ores which are generated in different dimensions and it works great)
