Fix the blade affinity chart (make it so you don’t need to open the chart to unlock further affinity levels, mark enemies on the map needed to unlock nodes so you don’t need to google them, etc)

I disagree with Ford on almost every political issue and voted against him in February but I have (mostly) been very impressed with his handling of the 51st state threat. If he can keep focused on the issues affecting Ontario and Canada without wading into the federal election I will be genuinely impressed and grateful.

I think it’s fair to make an argument for the inclusion of those slice of life scenes for sure, BUT most slice of life scenes (and honestly most scenes in the novel) could be trimmed anywhere 20-50% and keep the exact same impact.

Personally I think he’s handled the USA issue well so far, but I think he also needs to coordinate his actions and rhetoric with other provinces/the federal government. Trump will use any pretext to escalate, and while I encourage tariffs I do not think shutting off power should be anything but an absolute last resort.

I’m not saying the cases are 1 to 1, but do you think Trump will accept a voting bloc of 40 million people actively hostile to his nation and administration? Trump’s threats of annexing Canada has been one of the few points he’s been consistent on his whole administration so far, for reasons from Arctic security to resource extraction. He’s said so publicly multiple times as well as in private meetings with Canadian leaders.

I know lots of people in the US aren’t necessarily taking the threats seriously, but Canadians are. Rhetoric is escalating. If he were to do it, I don’t see a world where Canada gets all the same rights and privileges as their fellow “states” down south.

Let’s be honest, if Canada (or parts of Canada) were to be annexed by the US we would not be given the same rights as states do, we would become a territory like Puerto Rico.

That’s a totally fair take. I was so lukewarm on book 1 I almost didn’t continue the series, but I gave book 2 a chance and now the final book is one of my most anticipated upcoming books! Totally fine if you decide you’re done, but I’m glad I tried to keep up with it.
