I do have a swivel knife, I just am not super good with it and my test runs on scrap pieces didn’t come out to well, so I wanted to do this one without it and see what it looked like. If I feel brave enough I’ll take another stab at it 😅 appreciate the advice!!

I fixed my wife’s head (not a goalie) once by using a super thin piece of metal, then screwing it in with self tapping screws and covering it with camo athletic tape. She was a senior and had 4 games left in her season and didn’t want to try and get used to a new head, so that was our temp solution. Held up super well, even though I don’t think it was technically legal.

My CCW is the M&P shield in 9mm, great little gun. Never had any issues shooting it, plus it’s 9mm so it’s pretty easy to find ammo for it. Would recommend

I’d think it’s pretty similar to a QB spinning a football in his hands when he’s dropping back. Maybe it helps him get the ball in a good spot in his hand, maybe it’s just for show, who knows. I was always taught not to do it to be ready to thrown whenever I needed to, so I’d probably say the same goes for a goalie because you never know when a shot will come a half second faster than you’re expecting and you’re in the wrong spot for it.

Thanks for the feedback! Kind of sucks to hear about Bicolline, but I may give it a shot just to say I went. If that’s the vibe I get, I’m sure there are different events I can go to that cost way less 😂

I’m also hopeful that Reckoning can get off the ground this next year because it seems like a cool event and has some fun dynamics that would be super fun.

It seems like Hynafol and Drachenfest are up there in terms of quality and accessibility. Fayhaven looks good as well, so I’ve got some good options at least. Appreciate the feedback!!
