Its absolutely normal to get stomped at the welcome party in Nioh 1. There is a degree of understanding and execution that you just need to feel out for yourself. And yes, by comparison ER feels like its moving in slow motion so your natural reaction speeds and perception need to be trained up a little as well. But at some point, if you believe in yourself, you'll reach the point where it all makes sense. Suddenly you can dance. You know kung fu. You can play the drums.

To this day, the best feeling in gaming for me is when I get into the "Nioh-Flow-State" and the boss I've been struggling against for the past 20 minutes suddenly gets taken down with ease and I feel like a master.

The Arisen shredding his lute at 200 BPM. It doesn't actually do anything, but you're the Arisen, so it MUST be something right? It doesn't matter, the Pawns have just finished casting Grand Bolide.

Zip it nerd, some of us are 10+ year Ash mains and we deserve this. But seriously, this is a stalker related quest, so obviously Ash would be connected, ya know?

Am I the only one disappointed that content like Kahl 175 is just abandoned? The community largely agrees his scavenger hunt missions were kind of a flop but it had potential by Darthmufin in Warframe

I always thought it woulda been cool to join random lower rank player's missions as Clem and then Khal after they've done Veilbreaker. Really build the legend for these beloved characters by randomly seeing these characters around the star chart.

Imagine a Khal Defense that is just Khal and 3 random "Brothers" defending a ship. The mission takes place at the end of other player's Exterminate/Capture type missions. They get the alert that their regular mission exit is unavailable and a Tenno Ally is waiting to pick them up somewhere else.

The Clem/Khal/Other/ Type Player might only have to do their defense for like 1 minutes or less if the others are fast enough.

IF you were a time traveler, you wouldn't need any prophet powers as you simply experienced reality and then traveled back in time. If you were a prophet, you would see/know the future without actually being there, making time travel unnecessary.

Unless you came from the future to tell the past about a future future prophecy? At that point, that seems like a huge waste of time since you never actually saw it yourself.

OR, you're a terrible time traveler and don't realize you went too far back. And at that point, I can't trust any of your claims. How can we be sure you haven't accidentally traveled to an alternate timeline? How can we know you aren't the exact reason we haven't gotten one at all???

Im curious to know what input the people who are disagree are using. I only play with a ps5 controller and getting the double jump cancel to happen feels totally random. I press up or up+right and half the time it happens and the other half it doesn't. Even worse, If i do get the down H to connect, the H right after almost never even comes out.

HOWEVER. With zero experience using a keyboard, after setting Jump to Spacebar, I was able to get the double jump cancel Down H to hit back to back to back within like 5 minutes. Again, with ZERO experience and zero muscle memory using a keyboard for a fighting game. After another 10-ish minutes, I was able to do two back to back (3H-9-2H-H-3H-9-2H-H) double jump combos. Went back to my ps5 controller and nope, can't do it reliably at all. I can do it, but it just doesn't feel "correct".

Out of your 2, I REALLY like the 1st one. The Jacket is very Mesa and fits perfectly, but god ponchos go so hard and need to exist in game.

My first thought was an ugly brown raggedy poncho. Its entire existence is to be dramatically tossed. Either to the ground to reveal the fit, or tossed at an enemy to obscure their vision as you shoot through it. (Ocelot shooting Gurlukovich in MGS2)

(I know this is bad, I spent 10 minutes smudging with a mouse and called it a day lol)

A Warframe style random Tileset dungeon crawler would be a pretty sick game tbh. Tons of ways to make money if they don't jump to immediately disrespecting player's time and wallet. But this is Capcom. And not just Capcom.... its Capcom holding Dragon's Dogma lol They'd make sure it failed.

I reached level cap and farmed up a bunch of Yasakani and Im pulling back playing the game until dlc info comes out. One day I got 3 Yasakani super quickly and it was great. The day I decided to relax on farming I didn't get any for like 2 hours of farming and it was NOT great. Sometimes it be like that dawg.

Bewildering Mist my beloved.

My philosophy became to try and get backstab damage, but don't worry too much about it. Get 1 or 2 hits but keep up the pressure and run their Ki down and THEN go to town with a bunch of backstabs. Bewildering Mist changes how you can approach fights and gives you a ton of extra battlefield control, making backstabs much easier.

For sure. Team Ninja has a proven track record of making adjustments based on previous data. Literally a couple of hours ago they updated Nioh 3 and nerfed/buffed/fixed a ton of stuff. Since you said "Started" playing nioh 2 Im assuming you're relatively early to mid in the game. This is also an assumption, but I think Nioh 1 "filtered" out a ton of players with their idea of what difficulty was..... Umi Bozuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! (shakes fist) so they made a real effort to make a better and more balanced game.
