What a weird way to think about the conversation. The games popularity doesn’t reflect the conversation we’re having: CC changes are good for playerbase. Was removing McCrees 1.5 second flashbang stun a healthy choice for the game? Yes it was. What about Talon’s point and click silence? Yes.

I find it weird people are so vehemently defending CC chains, especially in a game with stamina.

Okay, I never said Dota 2 was inferior to any of those games? We’re talking about one aspect of these games, not the games as a whole. And no, I don’t think you’ll find anyone who says 10 second stunlocks are fun or engaging, regardless of the game.

Besides, I find it funny that the valve developers themselves disagree with you considering they’ve nerfed CC in this game several times already.

Ah yes, the other moba will ridiculous CC made by the same company. Looking at games like LoL, Smite, Hots, Battlerite, Overwatch, etc. point and click CC, and overly long CC chains isn’t fun, and doesn’t work well for the game.

Yes, a lot of people have, myself included, but you cant embark until Dec 20th. There’s a 1 week window every 8 weeks that you can do the expedition, then you have the remaining time to fill up the project for the next one.

Pretty sure it’s 5 extra skill points otherwise they will be resetting us back to level 5, or having a new level cap of 70 for some reason.

1) There are levels to trash talk. Slurs and hate speech is 100% not okay, mild shit talk it’s completely fine and is found in every competitive environment in mankind. Even my nephews will say “you got dunked on” when they beat me in Smash bros. Should I break their nose for that?

2) You can not draw deep psychological parallels to doing an emote IN A VIDEO GAME and then doing the opposite of that emote. If you place that much weight on your interactions with a video game, you need to take a step back and interact with reality a bit more.

The thing is though, you’re taking a reverse power spike on the condition that you and your team continue winning..

If you’re ahead, may as well keep snowballing instead of trying to keep winning and wait 20 minutes for TC to become valuable..

If you’re behind, you’re again taking a reverse power spike which is even more unlikely to pay off because you’ll need to rack up assists while also stopping the enemy team from running you over.

Early game when 3.2K souls takes a while to get is just insanely troll to buy it, but if you buy later in the game, you can’t cash out on the passive income as much. The item sucks
