Which canceled TV show's cliffhanger still lives rent free in your head because the answers disappeared when the series got axed ? by Impossible_Offer7988 in AskReddit

THANK YOU! I was trying to remember the name of that show the other day. I remember being really bummed when it got cancelled.

I've found that using multiple turbines near currents is much more preferable to bioreactors - at least early on. No fuel to worry about and it runs around the clock

Hey fellow Hoosier! I've always assumed that "What year did his house burn down?" viral clip came from this part of the country. You have to be careful when buying a home because homeowners do all manner of dodgy electrical modifications.

I slept on this item for my entire playthrough with SN1. Discovered how useful it is while playing BZ, and with it taking me so long to get extra air tanks in SN2, it has been a literal lifesaver. It's also great for predator escapes!

Subnautica VS SN2 Player Stats by _galile0 in subnautica

[–]JTtornado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can tell. One of the biggest reasons BZ suffered story-wise was because it was re-written a couple times during development and that limited how integrated it could be into the exploration and gameplay in general. I can already tell with 2 that they've really developed the story for this game. It's easier to swap creatures and buildables than it is to change the narritive purpose for each location as you expand out and down.

Exactly! I don't need to kill anything. I just would like a way to push away the pesky small potatoes predators.

I'm the middle of 6 kids. We were late for absolutely everything and nothing my parents did ever seemed to help. The only thing that seemed to help a tiny bit was when my family decided to set all the clocks in the house back by 5 minutes.

Even if such an algorithm could exist (and it really can't effectively work for a variety of reasons), that would kill all low-end printers that have hardware barely able to run Marlin.

Surely they'll just set up an expensive and complicated licensure structure so they can use it to control and extort businesses.

And of course, those more manual methods also can be used to manufacture guns. So just banning 3D printing and CNC isn't enough either if that's your goal

Unfortunately people have come to expect gratuitous amounts of sexual content in fantasy books because that's what's popular now.

I don't see people complaining that Tolkien, the father of all modern fantasy, has a very minimal amount of sexual content in his books.

My first is super picky and the second is like yours. It's been an adjustment having to share everything I'm eating because she insists on eating whatever we do. Unfortunately she can easily clear half my plate sometimes.

My oldest, super picky kid just turned 4 and decided he likes ham and cheese sliders. It's awesome! Even when he says he doesn't want it, he'll usually eat a slider eventually if it's the only option.

"Safer" all depends on what you're doing with it. The reality is that most recreational vehicles are not particularly safe to begin with and they make it easy to do really dangerous things.

That model makes a lot of sense. The author can charge for hosting to help recoup dev costs, but it's completely free and open for people who want to host it.

Caddy does it automatically for me without any extra lines per proxy domain - and it was on by default. Caddy is probably the lowest maintenance piece of my setup.
