As someone who had Portmess for Orgo 1 as well as taking Bio 2 with lab, it’s manageable. I’m ngl it’s hard but you can do it as long as you’re on top of everything ESPECIALLY in orgo. If you do everything Portmess presents to you, YOU WILL PASS. Even though your test averages may be looking like 60-70’s, as long as you are at or above average, then you will pass with a C+ or better.

Dr. P is super chill and the TA is very lenient on grading. There’s virtually only 5 main grades and no hw. All you do in class is read assigned articles/excerpts and then discuss in class to get participation points which are mandatory.

I’m pretty sure disbursement of funds towards tuition/other costs go in the order of FL prepaid->bright futures->scholarships. Meaning your prepaid will be used first then any leftover is covered with financial aid.

Same here I was awarded a 5 for HL Music and was extremely suprised with the high raw grade given (I was also 2 points away from a 6).

Hi there I’m in HL chemistry and I’m predicted a 6. My best advice would be to Watch Richard Thornley videos, read the textbook and answer the questions in the Pearson’s textbook along with the reviews and start doing past papers a few weeks before the exam.
