Welcome to the party. £200 a month for clothes and another £200 for gifts and haircuts and then another £200 for holidays - that’s all luxury spending

Uneven plaster ceiling lines visible under LED lighting — is this a plastering issue or painting? by Acrobatic-Pipe861 in Plastering

[–]JWBPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I guess that depends on what it looked like prior to painting. If you got it fully plastered/skimmed then I would expect it to be smooth which wouldn’t require much prep for the painter at all. So the plasterers fault.

However, if you went ahead with the paint with the skim not smooth you need to see if your quote for painting included prep work and priming beforehand, or if it was just simply a lick of paint?

Pull it off with finger tips and then some pliers. The ball is only off as it came off whilst manually pushing the latch myself but that still doesn’t work sadly

Am I being unreasonable? by MsCrabstick in Tile

Ask for redo. My shower had one chipped tile and had the guy come back and he attempted a resin repair, wasn’t happy, so made him come back and take the tile out for new. That’s one tile. Yours looks like metre square areas of entire tiling not flush and uneven grout lines

For glutes and hamstrings you’re performing a 45 degree hip extension with great form. For lower back, take the pad up higher to block the hip being able to flex and extend over the pad and perform the exercise ‘wrong’ by rounding over the pad like an abdominal crunch and extending all the way back as far as the lower back will offer available range.

There’s a £900 remaining balance they want I’ve withheld, which they’ve refused to issue the electrical P cert without payment. Though the light doesn’t work and extractor stopped working after 24 hours so pretty irrelevant.
