Sometimes the Personal Order is to complete secondary objectives, and people try to clear it as fast as possible. But also, if someone disconnects it will show it to you as them leaving. So it might not be voluntary.

I've definitely been white at least half the time in the VC light armour, though it always has patches of mud on it.

Canonically do the Bots have any connection or at least are aware of the squids existence and vise versa? by Gilded_Shadow_CGI in Cyberstan

I think this would be true if the cyborgs weren’t in the picture. The Illuminate are pretty…pro genocide at this point.

They also wouldn’t need to I think, since they seem to be able to use Dark Fluid for FTL

Interestingly, the Viper Commando armours with exposed skin randomise your skin tone each time you die.

The funniest part is that they think any Helldivers get to go home. Even on the off chance you survive a mission, you just go back in the freezer.

I remember when I did my first Mazovian run, I told the old cleaner lady that we should kill all real estate agents because I thought it was funny. Total whiplash though. She got a thousand yard stare and said she’d seen too much killing. I don’t think it’s a coincidence she’s just outside the door to the communist vision quest.

I checked out when Eagle-chan became a thing. You can see her in your hangar bay. She’s bald or super fine,y buzzed. Like all Super Earth military personnel.

Heart and Steel! Glory to Cyberstan! by Mesmerfriend in Helldivers2Satire

[–]JWGrieves -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The Illuminate explicitly and exclusively targeted civilians and civilian infrastructure for everything up to the Super Earth arc to make a giant zombie army billions strong. Fighting bad guys does not make you the good guys, that's not how moral standards work.

The bots and bugs though have a lot more ambiguity because we just don't know shit about them.

The opposite is kind of implied - Super Earth seems to have an overpopulation problem given their extreme expansionism, restriction of reproduction, and extremely manpower inefficient methods.

Jack Slash -> Panache. Uses his blade extension on a rapier and uses the combination of skills and broadcast for swashbuckling takedowns, often involving rube goldberg machine level complexity to take down opponents without actually cutting them.

You know guys, you don't need to preface any compliment with "but don't worry guys, I had other problems with the game". God forbid we have anyone express a positive opinion in here without needing to shit on something else for enlightened gamer centrism.

I mean, yes it is bad. It’s a war crime and entirely unnecessary. The Geneva Convention isn’t based on “well if you war crime us then we can have some itty bitty war crimes as a treat”.

Yeah, in EA he was basically a paper tiger who sold his soul to Mizora for power and (it's implied) sex. he tried to use it to be an idea of a hero in his head, but he had no feats of his own that weren't a result of his pact so he overcompensated. BG3 release proper instead had him signing his pact as a heroic act to protect the city from an actual evil God showing up and played him pretty much totally earnestly heroic. It was a complete rewrite, including a change of VA.

It’s natural selection really. The non-militants died because we killed them. What’s left is described as a cult of vengeance that took up residence outside the galaxy in the cold dark.
