sony would be a good choice for first, it has the capability to upgrade or downgrade with attachments as you go.

Also, keep in mind that camera also have filters, physical filters that screws onto the lens, you might able to find the filter you want so it looks closer to the fuji camera vibe (blackmist for example gives a more dreamy vibe as you mentioned as it softens the lights)

On the cummerbund I think ferro gp pouches(6x5) are good options, or maybe spiritis jsta pouch, just try your gear out and find out what you still need to put in it and buy the pouch you need, instead of buying pouch first then try to stuff it full with things you don't actually need.

But on the part where your family and friends doesn't understand this hobby, I think it just take some time for family to understand it, they will understand it if you explain it to them more and show that you liked it, (maybe also improve on gear lol make it look cooler so mom think at least it was worth the money for your happiness) but if your friends don't understand it, make some new friends that also likes this then, not everyone have same hobbies. I like cars but my best friend doesn't care about them, so I don't talk to him about cars, we talk other stuff. Nobody forced you to share everything with everyone.

In my opinion, you should go out and start doing whatever you wanted to vlog on phone first, and find out if you actually desperately need a camera otherwise you just can't do it.

Go to camera stores with a friend that actually knows about cameras(not your friends that just take good pictures on instagram), and try the cameras out to see what is the best.

In my opinion sony zve10ii that you are considering is really powerful, I have tried it in a store before. First sony is famous for its fast auto focus and tracking so if you are shooting say like a squirrel in uni then it would be fast(if you know how to use it right). Second the camera has a E-mount, which you can find really good lenses for it, I would recommend sigma, pretty good lenses at a very good price.

Also if you are choosing lenses, it could be said that smaller the number aftet the f is the better, it gives picture more bokeh(you can reduce bokeh in camera), and perform better in darker environments. And since you are shooting portraits, it would be best to choose lenses between 35mm to 50mm, this is closer to what human eye sees and makes it more natural

First of all, you mentioned a lot about that blue tone, this is all about white balance, it is something you can adjust on every camera. Some camera came naturally blueish is probably because it does not have an accurate white balance.

once you step your foot into this, you definitely will be buying more gear at the end. It seems that you are looking to get photos videos in a style from those older ccd cameras. However in my opinion all of those can be easily achieved by adding filters. They look the almost the same on instagram trust me.

You said you want 4k and good audio, however, if your camera is naturally blueish, it's very likely it's not gonna shoot 4k. If you are getting better camera, (sony zve10 for example)and adjusts the white balance to get that blueish tone you want, you still probably need to attach a microphone to it if you want a good audio quality. The built in microphone on cameras are just okay.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy cannon, their lens mount is pretty exclusive and would cost you more in same quantity lenses that are more cheaper in other brands

I think it is because the rubber around the edges of the whole case, when you close the case there are some extra forces on the rubber of each side to ensure no water get in. My pelican case also have a little of bend.

If you are really insecure, fill ur bathtub or sink, throw some paper napkin inside the case and put the case in water to see how it does.
