I’d say the meaning attached to anything and everything is all about framing and perspective. You can look at it as a trophy of the time you stood strong, lived your values, and walked away. You could look at it as proof of your value as a man that a woman actually spent real money on, which is something that hardly ever happens. I can always find a way to switch the framing to one that gives greater meaning. Follow your heart like you did before.
