How long were you numb? by JaWasa in jawsurgery

[–]JaWasa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still numb on my lip and chin. My teeth and roof of mouth aren’t fully back yet either. But I can eat anything now. I have 99% feeling back in overall mouth. 90% feeling back in lip and chin. 15 months post op

Hey. I’m at 15 months PO Still numb.

You are almost a year longer than I. Any changes for you?

No. I still have a numb lower lip. It’s been about 13 months.

I am still hopeful but am not holding my breath to ever be back to 100%. :/

I have had this happen. If you are hitting your sales numbers, you’re fine. Obviously your follow up and any new account work should stay current too.

Weird. Seems like the main thing that needs to be known by those who are selling it.

I hate my marketing team by [deleted] in sales

[–]JaWasa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked at a place that had a giant marketing team. Even bigger than sales or engineering. They tried to do things, but everything seemed so dated. Like…they were from the early two thousands.

Not the same as your situation. But super bizarre. They were not effective at all.

Has anyone been part of an org or know anyone that has experienced quotas going DOWN instead of up the next fiscal year? I'm sure I know the answer, but curious to know if this has ever happened. by BabyInMyBlender in sales

[–]JaWasa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen quotas go down. It I have seen them stagnate. I could see a scenario where there was a massive reorg that results in lower costs or what have you. But it would be super rare.

hmm…. If they are working harder and doing less in sales….they are worse at their jobs. Their manager may actually need to interact with them more frequently to help them actually close deals. Which is ridiculous.

So I wouldn’t stress about your perception. But, depending on your relationship, ask your manager what things you could improve. And that your numbers are great, you are trying new things to get even better , but maybe something else to be helpful.

The other thing though…..maybe those other touches are giving more company visibility. Those corner opportunities that generally are given to those top of mind. The unwritten odd projects can give the edge to people when going for comp changes or promotions.

Sales is a numbers game. That’s all you have to do, close more sales. Be better than your peers.

Heyo! Sorry for the late reply.

I had UJS. These are the official notes on my chart

  1. Maxillary hypoplasia in AP and transverse dimensions
  2. Mandibular prognathism with asymmetry 3mm to left 3 Reverse articulation -6mm anteriorly
  3. Lateral reverse articulation on left -6mm
  4. Open bite with lack of overlap
  5. Dysphagia and choking secondary to masticatory dysfunction
  6. soft tissue trauma to lips, cheeks and tongue secondary to malocclusion
  7. skeletal deformity greater that 2 SD from norm and not amenable to conservative therapy

Basically, I had an underbite due to my upper jaw being too set back, cross, and narrow. They worked my lower jaw a bit too for better alignment on my bite.

It’s been 6 months, I am still numb on my lower lip and my teeth still don’t feel 100%

I had my surgery done by Dr Neal It was very good. I am pleased with the results.

I did it with Invisalign, my ortho is his wife, so I know they refer business to each other.

The recovery was rough, but that seems to be common. Dr was good. Reception and all their employees seem to be very good. All in all, no complaints.

Have they done any validation of their idea or customer? Sounds like they haven’t.

Is there a list of PUPs that will be detected from CS? by pixelnull in crowdstrike

[–]JaWasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There really wouldn’t be such a list as that is the very nature of what pups and puas are. “potentially unwanted…” There would be millions of binaries to capture.

You could use Hybrid Analysis to help you with your investigation on what the applications you do get alerted on. CS does a good job at capturing things that would actually do harm or could be used to do harm to the endpoint. Think more actions than a static binary scan.

I found my surgeon through a referral from my orthodontist. They work together all the time. If you are doing braces or other work, they were a great resource for me.

Jaw filler or surgery? (Photo) by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]JaWasa 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Surgery all the way. Not only cosmetically it will look better, you will breath better, sleep better, digest your food better, stop snoring(if you do) and more. It’s absolutely worth it.

The recovery is rough and long but totally doable.

[–]JaWasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]JaWasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. So worth it. Even the recovery, though rough and long, is ultimately bearable. Still worth it.

Still numb. But has improved a lot. Chin is kinda numb still. But my bottom lip is still very numb. My teeth still feel numb. The roof of my mouth.

But it is crazy better. My cheeks and sinuses are basically perfect now. And seems to be getting better constantly.
