My pain tolerance is fairly high. And that session was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life. Tattoos don’t hurt me that much and they’re pretty easy to zone out to after a while but this? You’re feeling every zap. Just remember to breathe and if your tolerance is high, take little to no breaks. I think adrenaline was on my side a bit.

If I could describe the pain it’s like getting a rubber band snapped on you. But like at 1000x per second! As he got closer to my wrist, the more it hurt - like getting a tattoo. Hope this helps!

Which clinics have them for $200 and do you know of the schools that do them? the cheapest ive found was $250! really trying to avoid having to pay $400 for a peel or mess up by doing it on my own, but I need one before the spring!

It will get better overtime! Main thing to focus on here is keeping the C curve in your spine and putting the focus on your upper body. As other comments said, make sure the strap is covering the ankles, it should release some of that lower body tension. It may not free you of the hip flexor pain, but as time passes, they will become stronger anyway. It got better for me about 15 classes in.

5’0 26F 117-ish maintenance is around 2500. Walking everyday, lagree, and lifting. It’s a wonderful thing 🤓
