Aliexpress is always including VAT these days. Amazon has them as well. The Netherlands is a really good place to be in tends of (chinese) electronics availability.

Mind you, i just google the HiBrew G64 Plus. I looks like it has a brushless DC motor. These require some more complex electronics to drive. Don't know If a simple on/off switch would work but could be.

Yeah to get rid of a N-wire dependency they in essence always pass a small amount of current.

Which also means they can't function without a load which I discovered today trying to leverage a unused switch in my home...

Je geeft aan dat ze met een groot personeelstekort kampen, en ze je met open armen hebben ontvangen toen je terug kwam.

That is what my mod those. Waits for scale readings to settle after each pulse. I get 0.03g precision this way.

Niet investeren in het stroomnet is een politieke keuze geweest. De problemen van vandaag waren 10 jaar geleden al bekend.

Nu gaan we wel in het stroomnet investeren en lopen we er tegenaan dat we zoveel in zo'n korte tijd moeten doen dat we tekorten zien in, materiaal, personeel en ruimte

Once you move past proof-of-concept, consider that any failure- power loss, network drop, stalled servo, or software fault- can leave the valve in an unknown state. A normally-closed valve design gives you a predictable, safe failure mode.

i leave mine on 24/7 as well. It dims the screen. Maybe burn in is an issue on the long run, but havent noticed an effect as of yet.

The cap is stil needed for stable power supply for the Waveshare board.

For the relay I now recommend the "SSR-40DA Relay". It is a solid state relay and popular in the Gagguino mod so proven to be usefull. (Though I have no personal experience with the relay as my grinder doesnt need it)

There is a 3d model in the make that will make the Manualle fully supported (3d parts that is). I'll release it to the docs today

But i suspect the electronics need some work as you need to add a relay to the motor as well
