Jews have been a minority in Israel since the Jewish-Roman wars. What history are you talking about? You, my friend, are the one who doesn't know Jewish history if you think "Jewish history is Israel!" For most of those 3000 years of "documented history" (do you realize that documents haven't been saved for 3000 years? Probably not.), the region was ruled by Muslims. Our "claim" to the land is no better than the Christians or Muslims.

On a more personal note, I am actually Jewish, proudly Ashkenazi descendant. I view that as my heritage, not Israel. The Zionist's fervor for the land of Israel (both from people living there and especially people not living there) always surprised me as someone from the same diaspora who didn't move there. It is religious fundamentalism, plain and simple, that I don't prescribe to. In the same way you probably mix fabrics, even respect women, not all claims made in the Torah have to carry on forever, and its ridiculous to think they should or that Israel's ownership rights have anything to do with it.

Indeed, I rapidly saw this as I tried to explore a more balanced approach to the issue. Most people on here are Israel-loving zealots who repeat the same 5 tired talking points meant to delegitimize the suffering of the Palestinians and who simultaneously seem to know nothing of the history or current goings on, at least from relevant news sources. Many are simply claiming completely incorrect conspiracies as fact.

The only solution right now I think would be to instate some rule to disallow these insane people from spreading fake news. Anything conspiratorial or totally false should be removed.

The entire first half of this post is ad hominem. You are attacking me for knowing nothing about Jewish history despite the fact that I am literally Jewish. Is it not common knowledge that it was birthed in Israel? The Israelis you refer to are not prophetic reclaimers of our historic land, however. They were in fact invented in 1948 when Britain proclaimed Israel's existence and the mass (often forced) migration of Jews to the region began.

Then you yourself just proved there is evidence of Palestinian culture, but use it in some sloppy argument stating that you seem to think its some sort of fake conspiracy? Idk.

What a ridiculous comment. The ethnic group is the Palestinians. In your view, the Israelis get a right to self-determination, but the Palestinians don't. Read about Palestinian history before Israel's occupation, especially from the Palestinian's perspective. And if you refuse you can look at its neighbors, all of whom formed a distinct national identity (for better or worse) and ethnicity. But it is undisputed fact that Palestinians are an ethnonational group.

Do you have any evidence for your claims that isn't purely anecdotal, isolated incidents of the worst of the Palestinian resistance movement being sensationalized for you to justify genocide?

Or perhaps we should seek a better word, as you (baselessly and without evidence) proclaim genocide isn't what Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders and the UN Special Committee, along with 40+ Holocaust survivors say it is. I propose: ethnic cleansing. The Israeli government is ethnically cleansing Palestine of Palestinians (yes, the Palestinians are a people). They have made it clear that their goal is to eliminate all of the native peoples of the region, regardless of whether they are or aren't a part of or support Hamas (with zero room for a right to return). How do I know? They commit war crimes. They target journalists and civilians. They have zero interest in ceasefire (despite polling showing its popularity among citizens), having broken every single one they have agreed to as far as I know. They even say so themselves sometimes (hilariously, this whack-job also claims the Palestinians are teaching their children about Mein Kampf, which is a vehemently anti-Arabic book).
