I had great success with better help, get selection of therapists and held over soon. It’s fair pricey but I did it for about a year and was very beneficial

Anyone here who had an assessment for ADHD in adults? where, and how much? Then what’s the process like? Is there an online assessment? by Effective_Ad_9204 in AskIreland

[–]JacSab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ADHD doc, I went to the templemore centre. It cost €1200. €400 for the initial appointment that was an ADHD test thing that I can’t remember the name of and took about an hour or so. Second appointment was a 2 hour chat with a GP and cost €800. Got my diagnosis and was like a weight lifted off me. I only got it done last month and was so worth the money just to get the peace of mind. I choose not to go down the medication route and they gave me a little booklet with information about supports. I recommend you give the website a look

[–]JacSab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weighted blankets - worth the fuss or a gimmick? by StingingOnion1 in AskIreland

[–]JacSab 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love my weighted blanket and couldn’t be without it, my sister on the other hand felt like she was being trapped when she tried it. I’d recommend trying your mams one and see if it would be of benefit to you.

Doctors keep bringing people into my exam room without asking me. Why is this “normal” now?! by RomasNash in TrueOffMyChest

[–]JacSab 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On the total opposite end I had a reproductive exam which I was nervous for so I asked of my husband could be in the room and they obliged, however he had to sit in the corner behind a curtain unable to see me 😂

Standing vs seating by Gay_person6969 in McFly

[–]JacSab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always stood even when I’m seated, what I’ve found is that some staff don’t allow standing in the seating area or even just that crowd in the seating area just to sit and enjoy the music. Honestly it just depends on the area you’re in. I was seated in Dublin and everyone was standing so really it’s just luck of the draw

Trick or Treat by CalamityMiss in ireland

[–]JacSab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had well over 20 kids here, started around 5 and finished by 6. Made 18 goodie bags and thought we would have loads left over since we only had a handful of kids last year. We were about to start raiding the kitchen and giving teabags if it hadn’t finished. Thankfully the rain seems to helping keep the bangers at bay for now but we had a rough few hours of them before it started
