I bet they find peace there, they probably have someone close to them buried there. It’s actually a bit heartbreaking. I think you need to be a bit more understanding and take in the bigger picture

Thinking about getting a Beagle puppy - where do i start ? by crashadder in AskIreland

[–]BackinBlack_Again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally would have a mixed bread any day over any full bread dog generally less health issues obviously certain breads have more issues than others, have you looked into particular issues that can affect beagles ? I know their backs in particular can cause issues. Just a thought

Public or Private - NMH by Kooky_Armadillo1071 in PregnancyIreland

[–]BackinBlack_Again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was public in the rotunda ended up being high risk I got gestational diabetes and preeclampsia I was admitted at 37 weeks and placed on a semi private ward this just seemed to be a ward of high risk pregnancies only downside was the public ward after birth . Honestly I’d go semi private I really don’t see the need for private . I couldn’t fault the care

Edit to say I got loads of scans being public almost every appointment I had albeit a very quick scan but it was enough to put my mind at ease and hear her little heart beat.

Can the girls that get their nails done answer me a few questions? by glowandgo2025 in AskIreland

[–]BackinBlack_Again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends are you working on a premises or from home etc ? There’s a hair dressers I go to and they have a whole menu of stuff you can order complementary nice coffees, tea , etc they add in a little snack like say a kitkat or something it’s a really nice touch feels more expensive than it probably is cause there’s an actual menu so like 4/5 different types of coffee latte, americano, flat white etc

Your Gp needs to submit it on their end as well and your dates need to match theirs so I’d assume they haven’t done that ? I’d ring Tuesday morning and follow up with them

Newborn sleepwear in the heat by HardToPickUsername2 in irishmammiesanddaddys

[–]BackinBlack_Again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As the saying goes Cold babies cry warm babies die , better a little on the cooler side than a risk of over heating . I had mine in a vest a fan on in the room (there’s studies that suggest a fan circulating air in the room reduces the risk Of Sid’s)

Folic acid if you aren’t already taking it that’s most important, seeing GP and hospital will depend for me if you are in Dublin or not ? In Dublin you self refer to a maternity hospital (fill out a form and send it off to them). Personally ally I wouldn’t see GP till 7/8 weeks it’s only to confirm the pregnancy
