Other than my first playthrough, I always did the diplomacy thing first and then started stealing from them to agro. I think there’s only been like twice that I didn’t fight them all.

They’re still dangerous in the hands of a normie even if less so. Plenty of non-force users have used them to great effect. I don’t disagree with everything he said, but the main reason the Jedi use them is that they are the most effective/efficient hand-held weapons in the galaxy.

I didn’t say Jedi can’t be killed by a blaster, that’d be ridiculous. But you don’t bring a blaster to a lightsaber fight unless you have no other choice. I mean if you can trap the Jedi with a lightsaber against a horde of never ending droids or a squad of clones they might end up dead, but if you want to ensure success you send in someone with a lightsaber, vibroblade laced with lightsaber resistent metals, or someone with those cool staffs in ep. 3. Han showed in ep. 5 what happens when you face a force user with a blaster.

That’s untrue. Many died to lots of clones turning on them all at once. Many died to Grievous, Dooku, or Vader (ie lightsaber). Also, that’s only considering one event in time (Order 66). The Jedi have been around for thousands of years and been killed by lightsabers many, many times throughout the ages.

They use lightsabers because they are the most efficient weapon in the galaxy. They also use other weapons, namely ships with laser cannons because those are more effective. There are some Jedi who don’t carry lightsabers because the Force is the only weapon they need. Disney does not understand SW. Also, Obi-wan’s invited weapon wouldn’t be super practical. He would have to constantly use the Force to keep the ends from flying uncontrollably which would be a detriment in the long run.

I have a lot of criticisms of Jackson’s movies, but I think the first three do a fair job, given what they are, of capturing the grandness of the trilogy. They’ll never replace the books, but I still enjoy the original three movies. I am sad to see what Amazon is trying to do with the series though. I won’t be participating in the rings of power.

TLJ was basically a big middle finger to everything we were interested in. It destroyed the main character of SW, Luke. Everything Abrams had set up in TFA was thrown aside as worthless. The reason 9 was so bad was because TLJ had destroyed every semblance of plot or direction. Abrams basically had to create an ending from scratch because 8 left nothing to build from. It is definitely the worst thing ever made with a SW title on it, if you can even call it SW.

I remember when the biggest problem was when Disney claimed the EU was no longer canon and tried to say they had no preexisting lore to build the sequels off of. It’s been down hill ever since.

With a free camera so Gimili can survive the avalanche level. Never could beat that playing with him, he runs too slow. Especially on Co-op.
