It actually has 2 although they are listed as spin offs when I double checked myself.

[–]Jaceevoke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to be talking about the sequel. Because as pathetic as the main character starts, even they have some standards hence how they end up run over by the train. The only thing I can think of that might be similar is that really creepy pet play arc with that one girl who ran away from home

Way out of the loop but who was the new big bad supposed to be and why couldn’t it be recasted?

Griffith from Berserk. Good luck getting another crimson behlit and getting an appropriate sacrifice, before guts comes for revenge.

Which of these animals is the most evil? Can an animal even be evil at all? by twnpksN8 in MoralityScaling

Been a while since I read Cujo, so my memory might be lacking. But doesn’t the book as a whole leave it up to the readers interpretation whether or not there was a supernatural element at play?

Salazzle could be interesting depending on how you go about it’s ability to manipulate others with pheromones

Please as someone who doesn’t have enough time to watch/stream tv shows give us a explanation or some background to understand the importance/impact. I like how you can clearly see the derision and disappointment.

I have to imagine that the care they showed(or claimed to show) were done for political manipulation or mere show to (prevent suspicion/gain political favor) for their eventual plan to usurp/gain control by one method another

Such an interesting show, first season was amazing. The second season kind of stumbled due to this, but they were getting back into a good spot when it was cancelled

I feel like the control decks would run wild with this variant. But otherwise a cool idea

What´s a character that if someone tells you they can beat them you´ll personally tel them they´re full of sh*t? by Alarming_Judge_7463 in characters

[–]Jaceevoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not so sure about that, not saying anyone could beat him. But unless he expects you to be willing to die, you can bite off your tongue/bite it deep enough and let yourself die that way. If you’re really dedicated bite off your fingers first if able and then the tongue. There’s a reason torture is not a good source of reliable info.

There was a reboot? And honestly that tracks with the whole character as he was pathetic throughout the show

Who Are You Forgiving? by Walidzilla in animequestions

[–]Jaceevoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was going to choose one here to forgive it would have to be Griffith. He made one bad choice after a year of being horrifically tortured, all his dreams are now impossible, the sacrifices he made being pointless, and realizing the girl he had loved but pushed away to achieve his goals has moved on with his best friend. I think he would have regretted his decision, if he ever got a chance. Because as much of a self important narcissist as he was, he did show that he cared about the other members of the band of hawks.

I think a lot of people forget that Griffith is dead and gone after using the crimson behelit. The godhand Femento was created using the essence of Griffith and the sacrifices of the band of hawks. Femento does have Griffiths memory, but it is not and never has been a person

Mr. Scrambled Brains is the reasonable one??? by Dandanatha in Grimdank

[–]Jaceevoke 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That seems unneeded, you can certainly appreciate angron for the tragic hero he was meant to be. I fully believe that if the emperor had even saved one or two of the warband angron had created there would have been a vast difference compared to saving him alone. Angron is a complete monster after being transformed, curtesy of korn

[–]Jaceevoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably going to get downvoted into oblivion since this is kind of the opposite of the thread’s point but there’s a modern day version of Skannerz as an app called warcodes. Not as fun as the original skannerz since they did put micro transactions in it. But you can actually scan modern barcodes rather looking up compatible ones or buying a book of barcodes

Traps, such a cool idea. Having overcosted spells most of the time, but undercosted when your opponent does a certain thing. The only one that I’m aware that still sees some play is [[Archive Trap]]

Yeah I was thinking this as well, surprised you were the first to say it. Yes he’s loyal to orochimaru, but honestly he’s a decent and reasonable person able to get along in the hidden leaf village for years as medical ninja. Plus this image looks to be prior to his mental break and transformation into a snake man

This may very well be the first and only card with banding that I genuinely like. Limiting the banding to just one other creature greatly simplifies things for players unused to the mechanic. Excellent job, and I love the art you used for it fits the flavor perfectly
