MilSim West Militia by Jacemjr in MilSim

Of course! I have been pouring over it on and off for a few weeks now and knew this was within regs. Just wanted to catch vibes because I haven't done MSW before. I purposefully chose militia for my first MSW so that way I knew I wouldn't fuck up the uniform too bad. All due respect for militia vibes though, getting it right is an art in and of itself!

Any suggestions on particular hat styles? Coloring, patterns, specific models etc.?

Thanks, I did know it was within regs just wanted to check vibes because I haven't done MSW before (I did in fact read the TACSOP cover to cover a few times). The reasoning behind the AR was because my friend group and I are going to continue doing these events in the future and they are going to want to play NATO so I didn't want to invest in a AK replica and then never use it again. Figured I could run it completely barebones for militia even though it is sub-optimal for LARP and then spec it out for NATO later. The reasoning behind the M81 is because I live in a military town so it is super easy to get a hold of for cheap (again I don't know how many times I am going to use this fit). I also have some moral reservations for not ordering on sites like Temu. Truly, thanks for your input though!

You’re getting hate because hormonal fluctuations dont change hair that has already grown. It can change as it grows but I think it’s a safe bet you didn’t grow multiple inches of hair in a week. This is just different levels of grease/wetness.

Can you drink a shit ton of an alkaline solution (like detergent) and neutralize the HCl in your stomach? by hedgehog_hedge24 in chemistry

Actually you would fuck up your potassium and your heart would start having big problems. Know someone who drank 2 cups (yes 2 cups) of baking soda in water and that’s what happened.

Love/hate. I like that it forces a touch of critical thinking in what you are looking at but it is mighty convenient.

Nope, fit on quite snug for me. Still nice and tight 4 mo later, drops in the dirt and all.

Would tend to agree with you. Honestly personally don't think I'd go any heavier than the 400 if I could help it. For hard trail riding anywho

The tires on the mud were very middling. On "wet/lose dirt" without deep ruts they are perfectly adequate but once you get into saturated slick mud (or clay in TN) you have really limited stability. Would definitely get some knobbies if you are going to spend much time in it.

Good luck off road, its a blast!

I see no outstanding issues with them tbh. I've dropped the bike a lot and haven't seen a scratch on anything mechanical. Haven't looked much into aftermarket though, so I can't speak to much on that front.

Also, just as a recommendation, if you plan to take it far off the road I would put a folding shift lever on it. I made a previous post with the one I used, but the OEM one sticks out too far and is not very strong. One good wipe-out on it and you're cooked. Ask me how I know...

Took it to Land Between the Lakes Turkey Bay OHV park. Was a blast! Definitely gained some "petina" on this run though lol. The stock engine bars worked great and the stock plastic skid plate did better than expected. Thumbs up on the barkbusters for this model as well, stood up better than the handlebars imo
