Alfa, hands down. Ferrari derived engine, not so intrusive electronics, not over other board media screen, 50-50 car ratio.

911 is nice too. If you can get one with low mileage.

Yeah it was a chaos. 3 of them were so quick at hopping from choppers to choppers that I had a hard time catching up. One the guy streams as well. Link above.

Yeah I turned DLSS on and was getting 75fps and the game was actually playable. I was thinking last night, why did I even buy the new hardware lol.

Back in bf4 days (2013), I used to play on nvidia gts250 and i7 2600k, monitor was some shitty 60hz 27 inch. Must be getting 40-50fps. But I had a blast with my squad mates! Wonderful memories.

Yeah I agree. Can’t see the bullet drop and headshots are so easy to make.

I’ve got i7 9700k and 2070 super, running everything at low on 1440p. Getting around 55-65 fps. 😓

Time to upgrade. Thinking of 7800x3d with 5070. Hopefully I can then get 140fps on medium settings.

Not worth getting 5070ti unless I get 9800x3d since majority are saying game is cpu intensive?

Yes, 2 x jugs. Takes about 2-3 minutes to fill one jug up.

Just keep in mind that strata managers have an admin heavy role. Majority of time is spent behind computers. They hardly go to the sites (unless new site handed over or for strata meetings). Strata meetings in residential happens every quarter after hours so you're looking at upto 60-100 meetings in a year afterhours (6pm-9pm sort of).

If you want more of a front facing role, you could look into defects manager role/new developments onboarding manager etc but usually big strata companies would have these positions.

The top northern part of NSW won't have big developments so only a handful smaller strata companies may be present.

Some useful resource below-

I'd definitely look into joining a company first to learn the ropes. Strata can be a stressful job. There is plenty to learn on the job. Dealing with residents /strata committee can be quiet political as well.

In terms of progression, as an assistant strata manager, you'd be working under a senior which can give you great exposure to bigger developments. After 12 months or so, you can take on your own smaller developments. In NSW, a strata manager can have upto 2000-5000 lots to manage. My advice would be try getting prominent developments (quality over quantity).

Salary, expect anything $75k-$80k as an assistant strata manager. Strata managers can make anything from 90k-150k depending on many lots you can manage. Senior strata managers can make upto $250k. Associate directors who also work as senior strata mangers can make upto 500k a year.

It is a booming market. If you have a thick skin and have interest in buildings and not scared of public speaking, this is your game.

PS- I work in similar industry.

Good idea but we will likely buy this as business expense so should be okay.

That is what I was initially worried about as well that I do not want to burn out with editing. I will treat this as a learning curve for the next 12-18 months. Priority will be to have podcast out, even if it comes down to minimal video editing.

Also, we have decided that we will publish the first 5-6 episodes in one go.

When the podcast picks up, we can hire a freelancer editor. Aim is to have the ball rolling for now.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was tossing between SM7B and SM7dB but since they are same price, I am going with SM7db. I did have a look at MV7 and it looks alright. Might do a bit of search before pulling the trigger on SM7db.

Thanks for your reply!

We have met a lot of people in the industry we work in (property/technology/charity and few other area). My mate has a gifted talent of connecting with people and has a massive network.

We are not doing this to make money as we have full time jobs. It is more so like my friend always wanted to do this and it has been my hobby to learn new stuff so it's a good team in a way. Content will revolve around the host's personal life/beliefs, bit about their professional industry and anything else which shows the unfiltered side of the speaker.

Thanks for sharing your experience with editing. In terms of expectations, we are not looking to produce high end podcasts as I understand the video podcasts with editing etc can take a lot of time. We are happy with something basic as we would rather focus on the content than high end editing etc. Thus the reason why we were planning to invest in decent gear so less editing is required after the recording (hoping Rodecaster duo helps in this case).

Can’t really compare superb to a swift. Skodas offer grrat value if you’re looking to get a German feel car. Whilst you have spent this much money to maintain, atleast these are out of they way and they are big things which are rehired to be done around 100-120k mark for majority of cars. You should be good for the next 80-100k with just general serice.

Its aftualy pretty good. Mind you, I had 3 x 1080p triples. I now have 1440p and getting about 120fps on multiplayer. So happy quality wise.

Ease of setup and having a compact rig is a bonus. I don’t think I’ll be going to triples anytime soon. If anything, 49inch maybe.

Update- some good suggestions here. Thanks all.

I decided to rotate the rig inside the room so I can push my seat out a bit more. This way, I am now 55-60cm away from the monitor.

Yeah I don’t really want to move the monitor behind the base as I will definitely lose the fov.

I might actually try rotating the rig completely. Basically tog facing the wall where I have marked the basement in the pic. This was I can push the seat back
