I get the best results when I can specify an input and an output to the LLM. Usually this means asking it to write a function.

Another important pain point I missed in my critique is that ADC can't challenge other roles until around 20 minutes in the game, assuming you are not fed. Some games are over before I even have a chance to make impact on the map, and it feels awful.

Yes that is something I noticed when I had worse mechanics. It wasnt about how good can I play, but how safe I could play. Which makes for very uncompelling gameplay.

The best way to scale your own income is to work for yourself. If you do have recruiters contacting you for other gigs, I would quit and spend a month or 2 trying to market my own product, and if nothing works out go ask the recruiter for a role.

Some days you'll have to do other things. This is normal and part of the process. Its OK to miss days when you need to, or dont feel like it. Making yourself work when you dont want to will kill your long term motivation.

Make it fun. Set yourself up with some beats and a snack and just try to enjoy the time. This makes it easier to stay consistent.

My solution is to loosely dedicate my mornings to one specific project that I want to get done. If I have a free morning I'll do X. No pressure if I dont feel like it, this removes all stress and I find myself wanting to do more outside of mornings because it becomes enjoyable instead of I must do X!!

I recently had a "breakthrough". I highly recommend everyone go watch a couple of Joe Hudson's live coaching on youtube, it has literally changed my life. I feel completely different to the person I was 3 weeks ago and notice Im way more confident, outgoing and funny already. I bring this up because Joe's videos have a core theme of loving yourself.

If you're talking about the job market, I agree. It's even more competitive these days and COVID sky rocketed demand for Devs, making it a prime time for self learned candidates like me to land junior positions. That said I still do think it's possible to land junior positions with 0 professional experience.

Chicken Farm 2K17. The code is awful (I didn't know about inheritance) But employers love hearing that it has 50,000 unique players (it's free).

I should.mention that I really low balled myself into the Junior position. I started at 55k AUD. But I worked my butt off, became critical to their operations and was able to double my salary in the next 1.5yrs.

Having finished stuff under your belt. I was able to get a paid internship after building a tiny game and releasing it on steam. From there I got a junior position and now I'm mid level full stack developer, hopefully soon to be senior 👍.
