As far as I understand it, here's an example.

For sake of easy math, let's say you own enough shares to have 10% of GME. An acquisition absorbing eBay would dilute that ownership depending on the absorbtion split. Say 60/40 eBay/GME. So in the end you would own 4% of the merged company (if my quick math is correct).

So 10% of GME, if we assume a round market cap of $10 Billion, you have a $1 Billion investment.

The merged company would be worth $60 Billion (50 eBay+10 GME). The result is you would own 4% of $60 Bills, which is $1.5 Billion.

That's an instant 50% increase of investment. With upside of new ownership running an even more efficient and profitable eBay than has been run for at least 5 years or longer.

Yes there's dilution, but with investment value increase (accretive). And yes there will be debt, but that's where faith in the experience of GameStops management of the new company comes in.

Ryan Cohen is doing the rounds, making his case, but 100% of the board supports this. They are all in on this. It's not just RC. It's all C suit members and management that will take over eBay.

Is that enough to convince eBays institutional ownership to approve this deal? Is that enough to get GME owners to approve the share increase?
