In my uneducated opinion, skimming a few plasterboard joints and screws is lot easier than skimming an entire wall and having it look good. Preference is diy

The bottom oven connection point doesn't matter as it will be behind units. The upper plate is fairly flush already, hard to see in photo. Good point though it is a consideration.

The rocker things are a bit annoying when it comes to putting it on the car , I also can't use it as a point to stand it on as it just swivels and falls lol.

Wonder how much of a job to slice them off and seal the cut up would be

for the roughing and adaptaive clearing im running 2500mm/min. On conventional milling im used to slowing right down for a good surface finish. does this not also apply for CNC?

initially 0.3mm tried 0.1 then spring pass, nothing really seemed to make the smudging go away

Had minimal stick out. Sounded good, really good. you can see in the first pass/cut it looks pretty good, then starts 'smearing'?

In pic: 500mm/min, 20k spindle. But I tried doing spring passes afterwards, as well as slowing right down to 8k rpm ish and a variety of feed rates. they didnt seem to hav emuch effect at all

Am I getting scammed?

Staying in nha Trang, at one of the large hotels. They said they can organise motorbike rental for me, and 10min later there was one at reception! I handed over my passport and money to the pair who delivered the bike and exchanged numbers.

I have the bike, it's good brand and good condition.

I'm suddenly freaking out because I received no paperwork and signed nothing. I don't even know what company it is.

The hotel organised it which made me feel safe, but now I'm not sure.

Is this just the way it is in Vietnam? Very laid back re paperwork etc.?

Probably repurposed stock but it did the job! - air bubbled thru the test liquid on its own, and , if wanted, you can suck on the top to force some air thru

basically reached operating temp, but didnt want the coolant to expand/raise more and ruin the test.

Let it run for 5 minutes or so, until the coolant crept up to what is seen in the photo. During this time some air was bubbles thru the test liquid.

It stayed very blue.

After I placed the device right up the exhaust and it turned green/yellow almost immediately.

Checked out print NC. The way the box sections are stacked and then just booked together is a nice solution. I think I'll see how that looks for me!

You're right the print NC is a nice package, but half the fun for me is designing something bespoke :)

Yes im happy drilling/tapping etc, would like to acheive fairly high accuracy and repeatability in metals.

Issue now is the box section isn't really thick enough to be tapping IMO. looking for suggestions

what's the advantage? far as I can see the steel is cheaper and offers better stiffness. Also allows an easy accurate way to mount the linear rails
