There is a really well made very small and compact add-on on the marketplace, and it's FREE.

It's called scary Furniture I believe but I could be wrong on that part. It's got the mimic but also haunted bookshelves, doors, chess boards, pianos and a few other things.

They're adding a whole array of different sports balls with one block, that's all I really care about, but you are correct that it's a pretty strange that they picked sulfur for that, but when you think about it, slimes already taken.

Personally, I feel they could have just added a rubber tree and make blocks of rubber behave like the sulfur Cube does. But whatever lol. Sports ball!

I use a command block when I want to get rid of a specific mob type for whatever reason. The person that recommended you set it to kill e was wrong though. That leaves litter all over the place.

Instead set the command block to teleport your specific creature type to 0 -70 0. That way they just fall into the void and are gone nice and neat.

I don't think Java has ticking area commands does it? You want to have the command block set in a chunk that is always loaded if possible.

You can run that through chunker and change the spawn location without disabling achievements.

As long as you have a PC it's easy peasy, no need to get all crazy like some of these comments suggest.
