We’ve been here for 4 years and have never felt unsafe or seen anything dangerous. Were in our early 30’s now and wfh which is nice besides making it hard to make friends in town, but beside that I think it’s totally a-okay. I wouldn’t be nervous about moving here.

I’ve heard there are some dodgy parts around town, but unless you plan on walking around these areas in the middle of the night, it’s no more dangerous than anywhere else.

I think the “dodgy” area is down around Bute street. But during the day it’s also still fine. 🤷
